today a friend of mine ran up to me and stuck her finger in front of me. guess what was on her ring finger? A fake diamond ring that resembles a huge wedding ring.

and guess what she said?

"my boyfriend bought this for me. it's his pre-promise ring to me"

and i was like...

"oh... so you're engaged?"

and she said no.

but that's just weird... pre-promise rings. she's barely 15 for goodness sakes.

i guess a pre-promise rings means a lot. It represents their strong love for eachother; and trust to even think that they would be together forever. And really, they meant forever. So pre-promise rings are actually kind of cool :]

agreed. but i've just heard of them as promise rings not pre-promise rings cause promise rings are pretty much pre-engagement rings... ermm.gif anyways that is kinda young but hey, who knows right? but yeah they can be rather special i think.

you seee, the PRE-promise ring comes before the actual Promise ring it self. i guess..promising to give the real promise ring to the other person. strange..

I don't have the money for two rings.

yah i've heard of those rings...but they're not called pre-promise rings, they are called somethan else...i forgot what it was. But yah like it's a promise to stay true and stuff til you get engaged, and then til you get married. I mean i thought it was kinda romantic. not really necessary but it's a nice step. But at the age 15...eh, not good.
