2.) I think that tattoos are cool as long as they are resonable. i don't really like them when they are all over the person's body! pinch.gif

I think that like almost anything else, tattooes can be either safe or dangerous. One must be an intelligent consumer, first and foremost. Don't just stumble into a random tattoo shop. Shop for an artist, because ideally a tattoo will last longer than any other purchase you make. Make sure they use sterile conditions, have a proper autoclave, and that the person treats you in a respectful and professional manner. That manner will respect their attentiveness to safety guidelines, after all.

Are tattooes cool? Well, a "kewl" or "kool" tattoo probably won't be, because it will be something spur of the moment and a passing phase. Putting something into the fabric of your body which doesn't reflect a lifetime commitment or characteristic will hold you in that pattern, tying you there.

Tattooes involve repeatedly putting a needle into skin to break it and inject ink. It is, of course, painful. However, some parts of the body are more sensitive to pain than others. I found that my upper back was less sensitive, whereas my leg was incredibly sensitive. The inner arm, leg, and neck are very, very sensitive, and I don't have tattooes there.

I have four tattooes. I have one dragon on my right scapula, a larger one on my left scapula and extending beyond it, an Anubis with three runes beneath it on my right arm and a Willendorf goddess on my right calf. I don't regret any of them, as I thought carefully about each and feel they relate something about events in the past which I want to carry with me. They reflect who I am.

I don't believe tattooes are pointless, and I think that's a rather ludicrous assumption. If clothes aren't pointless--which they aren't, as they present to others an impression of how we want to be seen--tattooes are even less so.

Like your signature! Blessed Be!

Do you think tattoos are danerous or safe? I think that tatoos are pretty dangerous. you're permeantly marking your body up with ink and needles. but for some reason i find it attractive, i have no idea why

Are tattoos kool or not?It matters what the tatoo is of. I think tatoos are cool when you get somethan that really means somethan to you. And i think tatoos on guys are hott, lol i really don't know why, i just do

Are tattoos painful or pain free?It matters how big the tatoo is and where you are getting it. Alot of my friends have tatoos, and most of them have a high pain tolerance so they told me it doesn't really hurt. so i dunno

Do you have any tattoos nope

If yes: what are they and where are they? So you want more

If no: Do you want any? (what and where)
I dunno...maybe. If i ever got a tatoo then it would be on my back. A rose or wings or somethan...but i doubt i will ever get one.

If you have/got a tattoo would you/will you regret it? i probably would at one point. that's why i'm one of the only people i know that doesn't have one lol happy.gif

Do you think tattoos are danerous or safe? theres no question about it....tattoos ARE dangerous. u no how ur mom and teachers said "dont write on ur skin with pens!" well that relates to tattoos too...because the ink gets into ur skin.

Are tattoos kool or not? it's kool if girls/guys have one or two...but i think it's disgusting when u can't even see their skin underneath all that grafitti.
[/B]

Are tattoos painful or pain free? i heard that it hurts like hell.

Do you have any tattoos no!

If yes: what are they and where are they? So you want more n/a

If no: Do you want any? (what and where) idk...im thinking about it...i just picture in my mind when im lyk 80 years old and have a tattoo on my wrinkled body. lol

If you have/got a tattoo would you/will you regret it? i most likely will...that's why im hesitant...because it's a permanent thing. ill stick to the rub on tattoos cool.gif

I never find that tattoos are unhealthy.
If they are, then why would people want
to do that in the first place?
Well I don't think it's cool. If they had like
way too much of the tattooing -- yes, it's sickening for me.
Well if they had one tattoo, it's okay, and it has to be very
small. Not like a big whopper one.
I don't know why you guys think it looks cool on you.
I heard that it makes them look like they are tough person.
But I find that guys who has so many tattoos are scared
of a spider... JUST a little spider. They scream like a little girl.
I know few who does that lol...

i think i heard somewhere that getting a tatoo increases ur risk of getting cancer or something, and i dont think that its very healthy getting a bunch of graphite (which is poisonous btw) poked into your skin....as to whether or not its kool depends on ur own opinion. i think some of them r nice, but if ur lyk tattooed in vry square inch of ur body then no. and no i dont have a tattoo, my rents would kill me nd i dont really care too much for them in the first place. yes, they hurt like hell (thats wut i heard), u hafta sit there for hours while a needle inject toxic substances into your skin.

I don't have tattoos..I personally think they're disgusting, but they are a form of expression, so it's cool for the people who have them. But if anyone is getting one, be sure to make sure everything is clean and the place is not some ghetto shop.

Their not dangerous as long as you find a safe place, that's certified to give tattoos...
I think tattoos are cool, as long as they arn't stupid or pointless.
I think tattoos are pretty much pain free.
Yes, I have tattoos.
I have three tattoos, one on the small of my back, which says Joshua, my fiance's name, then i have a tattoo around my left ankle that says my daughter's name, and I have one on my right shoulder blade, an Anarchy sign.
I do want more, I'm trying for my second child, and I want his/her name around my right ankle.
I don't regret my tattoos because I got them in places that arn't really noticable. They're basically just for me :)

I've thought about getting a tattoo, and I'm going to get one and it's not because it's a 'fashionable' trait or because it's 'cool'. I'm doing it because that's something about me I've always wanted to do. That's the issue when it deals with piercings and tattoos. People tend to do it more frequently when it's considered a trend, and I hate following trends so no lower back or shoulder blade tattoos of angels or butterflies. When I get it, it's going to mean something to me, and only me.

Now, for the questions. Everything you do has a level of danger, so tattoos has it's risks. That's something you face and you accept when you decide on getting a tattoo. It's a law that when getting a tattoo, you physically see the tattooist take out a brand new needle out of the package before starting the procedure. Of course getting a tattoo will hurt. It's a needle going in and out of your body. Your level of tolerance and where the tattoo is placed determines the amount of pain you'll experience. Like, the neck, under the wrists, ankles, lower back have thin amount of muscle/fat and it's on the bone which is more painful than say, on your stomach. I wouldn't regret it as stated before, I'd get it for me and no one else. So, no tattooing my boyfriends name on my ass. And, as of now, I have no tattoos but I do have piercings and that will change shortly.

Do you think tattoos are DANGEROUS or safe? if you go to a good/non sketchy place then it is obviously not dangerous.

Are tattoos COOL or not? i love tats, they are a form of expression.

Are tattoos painful or pain free? obviously they are not pain free, you are having a needle stuck in you, but its not like bloody murder getting one. at least thats what my sister says.

Do you have any tattoosnot yet, for my 18th birthday I am getting some.

If no: Do you want any? (what and where)^yes. I am getting two black nautica stars, ya know the navy stars on my lower back. I also think that I am going to get something on my shoulder, idk what yet.

If you get a tattoo will you regret it? most likely not, but if i do, there is always ways to cover them/get rid of them

ps-as sammi said, this isnt a debate really.

Tattoos are safe, if you go to a "dirty" place to get a tattoo then you are not using your head, not to mention its rather cheep to become a tattoo artist and it would be a stupid thing not to re-use needles, you would be losing much for such a stupid act, they ususally cost less thatn 1.00 per needle I have yet to meet a tattoo artist that uses the same needle. I am personally an intern at a tattoo shop... I currently have 5, the one on my lower back hurt like a @#!*& the other ones didnt hurt much, if you google the words " celestial tatoo" you will see 3 of mine, the other ones are not posted yet. I have them on my ankle, shoulder baldes, lower back.
If you get a tattoo its a different pain, you will have to decide how it feels, its like a constant cat scratch if you may. Its a whole new pain and if you really want the tattoo, it doesnt matter the pain, you know it will rock! I dont regret my tattoos at all. and when I get old, I hope the people in the nursing home that take care of me think it rocks too. It will always remember me of my past my younger days! Good luck getting a tattoo, I have some art work if anyone is interested.

My grandfather is 71 and he has a tat of a pitbull on his right arm. It looks fine.

QUOTE(comeupon @ Jan 12 2005, 2:14 AM)
Its more dangerous to get in a car every day than to get a tattoo, my uncle is a retired tattoo artist, he used to work down at Jade Dragon in Chicago --one of the most respected and well known parlors in the country. They use a new needle on every person so chances of infection of minimal, but do still exist. Most people say it didnt hurt as much as they thought, but it is still pretty painful. Especially if you get it sensitive spots like the back, spine, neck, and etc. I have my name written in small letters on my ankle right above my ankle bone. My parents were hesitant at first but now they could care less --I was 14 at the time.

you have like how many piercings, and tattoos. i want your parents.

but. tattoos are pretty safe. i want a few. but not right now because im not too certain on what i want. but i do like them

Tattoos are art. If done properly they will not endanger your health. If done improperly you can contract diseases and viruses (such as AIDs). Tattoos are also cultural and a way of self expression. Getting inked just because you want to look cool isn't a good reason to get a tattoo. Tattoos are painful.

I dont have one but I do intend to get one on my upper arm. A japanese symbol about as big as 4 quarters.

Do you think tattoos are danerous or safe? they can be safe your have a place that use clean needles. meaning they are only used once.

Are tattoos kool or not? i dont think they are cool when people get them to just get them. i hate people who get tats that have no meaning behind them, they just get them because they think they are cool

Are tattoos painful or pain free? most people i know say the pain is moderate. it also depends on where you get the tat

Do you have any tattoos i may get one in 4 months when i turn 21

If yes: what are they and where are they? none yet

If no: Do you want any? (what and where)I am not going to say what kind of tat i want because some people are so unorginal these days but know it will be different.

If you have/got a tattoo would you/will you regret it? if i get a tat i will not regret it because it will be a long thought out decision
