Yea, I never realized that either until I read it in a magazine. Mostly it's because their company can only earn money through selling these softwares.

[this should be in Technology I guess]

hmm i'm not quite sure but yeah it is expensive...like my friend wanted to know where she could get a copy but she didn't know how expensive...i told her and the look on her face was priceless. biggrin.gif

I'm not going to tell you where to get it, but if you want it enough, you'll find it.

Personally, I think a statement from cb should be included at the top of threads like these, stating that creatBlog is in no way involved in the trading, or sharing of ripped software.

Good Idea, hopefully the people here know that already though happy.gif .
Also, blackmyeyes, did you consider that photoshop is so expensive because so many people try to pirate it now instead of paying for it? I could buy it if I had more interest in what it(photoshop) has to offer.

Dont talk about piracy in here, not good practice. over time could get the forum shut down. You can buy Photoshop CS or limited edition for $200 i think. i spent 99 for the upgrade everytime a new version comes out

yea...that why i dont have it and ish. my mama would NEVER pay all that for some software i wanted. maybe 50 but never 600. im just going to have to wait until i'm 16..then save some money for about 1 year then buy it...damn..i'll be 17 by then

see if your school lets you borrow their CD they have 1000 licenses on there and the teacher was like "sure here borrow it" and you know what happened afterwards xD

yep photoshop is expensive. my friend's dad had like 2 cds from work so he gave me one and one to his son. haha lucky me
