when your parents, fight Options

When your parentings or step-parents are fighting what do you do? Do you try to help?

Do you try and stay outta it?

If you just try to ignore it, how do you?

I avoid both parents and lock myself in my room.

they don't fight much and when they do i just ignore it cause its usually over something petty.

i personally think that you should stay out of it...because even if you're not they'll accuse you of taking sides, one will be upset with you or one will try to persuade you to take their side, i don't know but they should work it out themselves, you're not always going to be there help them, you have your own life

mine dont fight as much anymore i use to get in it and curse at them lol and they would just stare at me and stop lol but now i just ignore it and go to my room and the person that stands in the way is my older sister...

They argue about the stupidest things! And it's like for a split second.
And they just like, bitch to one another.

I just ignore it, but sometimes I can't cause they're so damn loud!

I usually stay in my room and try not to get it involved.. there's lots of yelling and door slamming.. and I can hear every word of the fight from my room I usually just put headphones on or something.. he's not even my dad he's just the stupid boyfriend that lives with us

my parents used to argue alot when i was small but not anymore. i used to think they were going to get a divorce and i was sorta glad back then because i didnt have the greatest relationshiip with my folks but not im glad that theyre still together. but when they were argueing i remember i used to try to eavesdrop and listen =P

omgsh i know you feel my parents fight 24/7 since i was in... second grade? probably before that too. well for mee.. i just pretend im happy and i sing a song in my head and sooner or later i become happy and everythings okay. i know that sounds a litttle awkward, but it worked for me jst ignore it and go to your room or osemthing. dont ever ever EVER try to help or get invollved in anyway i hope i helped

usually when adults fight, it's because they care about one another... it may sound strange but if you really think about it... it makes sense... also, it's really not a good idea to pick sides when two ppl are arguing unless you know in your gut that one of the parties is wrong...
