 About a week ago, the boy I've liked for like forever told me that he didn't like me as anything other than friends and that he wanted it to stay that way. I just started crying, I was genuinley crushed. Then he covered it all up with fake compliments. They made it seem better at the time, but now that I think about it, it makes me really mad that he just didn't tell me straight-up.I don't know what to do. Is it wrong to cry because someone doesn't like you the way that you like them? Help. |

It's completely normal. Trust me, we're all well... for the lack of the better word: "rejected" sometimes. I know sometimes, it's tough to get over it. Maybe the boy hasn't seen your true colors yet? Or maybe he's just not the right person, you know?

no, it isn't wrong. :( and it happens all the time.
I had the same thing happen to me last fall, this guy I'd liked for years told me he only liked me as friends. But I found someone else and don't regret it at all. :] I would say, even though it seems hard, move on. Maybe he's just not right for you? |

nothing is wrong with crying...though i think i do it a bit much sometimes
 but yeah if the guy i liked said that to me i'd be crushed too. you'll be fine though, it might just take time.

It's not wrong to cry. It's never wrong to cry. It's normal.
I went through the same thing. You should try to get over him. Because he's not worth your pain. No boy is worth your tears. As my teacher has told me, "Heartbreak is painful. However, it is the past heart breaks that allow you to know the man that can heal your heart." |

yeah i'm basically in the same situation as you are, except the guy hasn't told me anything cause he doesn't know i like him. but i know he doesn't like me back..cause he and this other girl are kind of dating but not really. it's perfectly normal to cry..i do that a lot. i think if you really like this guy [and you know it's not just a short term thing] then i say keep your dreams up because you never know. if you want to move on, that's fine too =]

i dont think its wrong for yu to be crushed...but maybe you should try getting over him...you never know what lies ahead of you...that is unless yu "love" him and willing to wait for him...but whos knows thats for you to decide...=]

its not wrong at all, dont worry about it... u were jus upset bc he didnt like you back. i remember last year i liked this guy forever and he never liked me and kept going out wid all these girls and everytime i found out he was going out wid another girl i cried bc it felt like he liked every girl but me, like something was wrong wid me. but i got over it & him. so dont worry, ppl get upset bout that stuff all the time and hopefully u'll move on to someone else soon.

i hope that doesn't happen to me. cuz there's this one guy that i like, i hardly know him except we were in english class last semester and he sat next to me. he was sooo nice and we talked n stuff but i think we were both too shy to talk outside of class. i want to try to sit with him and his friend at lunch even though it'll be hard for me to do hehe. i'm so scared he won't want to know me, or he'll think i'm wierd but so far he was nice. he still says hi once in a while and he glances over at me and i'm so shy to talk to him. do you think it's worth it? cuz i'd like to be more than just friends if he'll let me get to know him.
