I'm not stressed out at all, because midterms are only 1/7th of my grade. I'm probably not even going to study too much. But If you're having problems, I'd say study the stuff you did more at the beginning of the year, because you dont really remember that as much as the stuff you just recently learned.

i don't stress even though they're about a quarter of my grade.
when i study, i lock myself in the guest room which has minimal distractions..all it basically has is a dresser and a bed..and i grab a chair so i won't lie on the bed and fall asleep. then i take my huge stack of notes/homework assignments/past tests/etc that i've saved [comes in handy =)] and i look through all of those, and do the problems over until i get them.

I study the subjects you can memorize stuff for... and screw the subjects that you need to "practice" for i.e math

And you really can't "study" essay writing so I forget about that

AFter all the organization, there isn't much to study for except maybe your sciences and history classes... and maybe foreign language IF YOU care about it

I don't really study. I just try and cram before the bell rings. And if I'm totally unprepared, I "help myself" sometimes. ;)

bleh- this week is finals week. well, tomorrow and wednesday is the english regents- and you can't really study for that. and, people say it's easy, so i'm not really worried about that. but physics i really need to study. and by study, i mean cram on the train on the way to school.

I'd just take my mind off of it until the day before or the hour before you take it and then take ur notes and stuff, and cram as much as you can into ur head. This comes from experience...well, this only goes for me because well...I have bad short term memory so studying doesn't do a damn thing for me.

I never had midterms yet so I wouldn't know.

My friend.. she does something that calms her down usually when she's angry or stresseed, not because of midterms.

I only have 2 midterms coming up. They're really easy...because they're for regular Science and Math students but I take Honours for both of them. So it's a very basic review...

All I do for studying is take lots of notes. With my hands and paper, so it can get engraved in my brain more deeply. Typing doesn't get the same results. So...yeah.

but on the plus side.. my bathroom is EXTREMELY clean..

well, you should study the things that you don't know or remember first as opposed to the major topic breakdown for the test. i studied the topics that took up most of the weight on my final exam and couldn't remember all the stuff in the begining of the year and i was kicking myself when i got it back. mad.gif

Last year my school screwed up our midterm schedule so nearly the entire school pentitioned them. Apparently it worked because we don't have them this year :D
Unfortunatly some teachers are making finals mandatory because of that. (Normally if you have straight A's through the entire year you don't have to take finals - but some teachers are making us because we don't have midterms)
