Sometimes I just depend too much on my friends to be there where ever I go. It's like I always have to have a buddy there with me or else.. ehh I feel some sort of insecurity.
My new semester starts tommorrow so I'm basically being separated from my friends. I'm hoping it's a good change so that way I can meet new people.. Do any of you have problems with being independent or relying on friends to be there so you don't have to be alone ? |

yeah i guess...when i'm in a place with a lot of people its nice to have people who stick and just talk to you so you dont look like an idiot...hah, but enough said about that, its good that you're forced to make new friends and stuff, it gives you a chance to get to know people you wouldn't have before so be glad!

yea i feel like that a lot. especially at school or w.e, because most everyone else is hanging out with at least one other person. it makes you feel like a loner you know? but sometimes it's nice to be alone for a while, absorb the surroundings... but hope you take this opportunity to make new friends

i feel the exact same way ..im afraid of being by myself ..its very hard for me to make friends ..sometimes i make them without knowing
 i'm a very insecure person, too. i feel self-conscious whenever i'm around people i hardly know and sometimes even with people i do know ..

yehh i feel the same way, like i NEED to talk to one of my girl friends if i cnt talk 'open' myself to my bf...but wen it comes to deciding things for my friends im independent but wen it comes to my bf, i need my best friend!!

 i'm a pretty independent person in general but when it comes down to it...without two very special people in my life...i'd probably feel so very alone.

not really. i'm pretty independent...but insecure. yeah i know that doesn't make sense but. i am. i can go around without having my friends with me...but i'm insecure about myself...

no. i am secure about myself wheter i am with friends or by myself. but i am probably more secure with my friends because that is who i am comfortable with. and i hope your semester goes good. my semester changed 2 weeks ago and i am away from all of my friends! but i make friends easily so i guess i have no problem.

i can be dependent and independent. if i wanted to someone to hang around with at school, i'd expect my friends to be there and such, but if i needed to get something like buy food or go to the bathroom at school, then i'd go without them. yeah i don't need them there all the time, but it's nice to have people you love around. it's also nice to make new friends too.

you know what, i'm kinda like that in a way i guess, but now seeing that i don't really have friends there for me anymore...i kinda am independent now...but before, it was insecurity for me, if my friends weren't there to help me make a decision in life or anything...i felt so alone, but now i'm fine, i have my boyfriend and my own thoughts and opinions on things....but i know what you mean... =)
