it's probably because you have dust in the lens.

clean it out often.

or your lens are ripped.

[you're using soft contact lens, right?]

Well, true, you can wear sample contacts long, but if they start to loose their shape, get rid of 'em. Hmm...it could possibly be the contact. The type of contact....try Re-wetting drops _smile.gif I had a similar problem flowers.gif but it's gone now heh..it also could be dirty, make sure you clean your lenses regularly

you're only supposed to use them for two weeks _dry.gif ....but *sigh* just use drops like Visine when you're not wearing the contacts.....though i recommend that you not use contacts at all for a while....or at least go to the eye doctor....becuz your eyes could get an infection.....but just don't use it for a while....or you wont like the results of your eye... ermm.gif

Are they prescription ?

If you have worn them over the time period that they should be worn then I suggest you throw them away. If your eyes are irritated don't try to put them back in until the red is gone.

have it checked out, eyes are very easy to damage, and you should wear contacts much longer than they're supposed to. I'm pretty sure 10 -25% longer shouldn't be a problem, but i wouln't go longer than that

Contactz make you look pretty in a way, but they can really hurt you in a way. Like the most popular girl in my school got pink eye from contactz. Contacts are applied to your eye, and they suck out the water from your eyes, which make them really dry and your eyes will no longer have any water to allow it to spin or etc...so dats why it hurts your eys are makes your eyes itchy. I plan to stick to glasses or laser.

Hm.. i don't think that can be good for you. Once I wore my contacts over the two week limit. Then during class it got really dry, folded in half, and went to the top of my eye and was stuck up there for a few hours until I put another one in and hadda pull the folded one out.

I had a similar problem.

Take REAL good care of your eyes when wearing contacts
wash your hands with anti bacterial soap before handeling contacts and rinse the contacts for 5 seconds with the no-rub solution you can get pretty much NE where before putting them in.

Chances are that you probably have an infection or a virus in your eyes if they are blood red, maybe from dust that got in them. You should go see your eye doctor who will tell you if you need some anti biotic drops (which are really harsh on your eyes, so he'll only perscribe them if you have an infection; not a virus)
If you do get some anti biotic drops DO NOT SKIP any doses (which can be REALLY tempting when you have to put them in every 4 hours!) or they will not get better

Try not to wear you contacs longer than what the recomendation is, because they get worn out. Throw those contacs away and if your eyes get better DO NOT reuse them even if you wash them out well because they may still hold the virus/bacteria in them (the rinses you get for contacs only remove protein, not bacteria)

Hope everything turns out well and take care! I hope this helped =]

don't wear them for too long..i did and my vision got worse. you should get the kinds that you throw away after 2 weeks. it doesn't have to be the ones where you throw them away every day though..those are expensive..lol.
