Okay Chemistry is my worst subject. The textbook we have is complicated and I can't understand it. The teacher can't teach. Does anyone know any study books or websites where I could learn some Chem?

It's very hard for someone to just teach you all of Chemistry online.

I suggest the best way to learn is to ask specific questions that you may have.

I'm a sophmore in high school. The class is Pre-AP. I don't have any specific questions right now because I don't know anything.

I'm in 6th grade. Science for me is learning planets. Last year we did chemistry. It was cool.

But, try googling it unless you have something specific to learn about.
;o my teacher can teach well.

Your best tool is the textbook, it explains everything really well, and try to look at sparknotes.com

hmmmm... chem sucked for me
I liked stoichiometry though...
I think the hardest parts are the various applications of the formulas that you memorize, so memorizing formulas are a start.

Post here and we can try to help with specific examples xD

Try Chem4kids. I think it's a pretty good website to learn the basics.

//edit: P.S. I'm not good at Chemistry either *sigh*

a specific topic would be nice, such as stiochiometry (spelling) or dimensional analysis. or lewis dot diagrams, whatever. i think people teaching you chem is better than going to a website, and we can't teach the entire subject of chemistry, as stated before.

from what i remember.. my AP chem exam had a lot of naming.. and choosing likelihood of 2 atoms bonding.. i honestly don't remember that much cuz i just wanted to get over with it.. i did independent studying for AP chem in HS, which ended up being me learning how to play cards.. really well.. i uh, managed to pass it.. so it really aint that hard..

I'm getting A's in Chemistry (not to brag), so if you need any specific help, I could do that....What are you on right now? We're learning Lewis dot diagram or something....with candy. :D

My teacher can be a bitch, but she's pretty cool. :]

The topic starter isn't even replying in his/her own thread all that much and no specific questions are being asked.

If you are TrustU2HurtMe, and would like to have this thread reopened to ask a SPECIFIC question. Please PM me or the staff, thanks.

Good luck with Chem by the way.
