^that's great to hear that you want to get a closer relationship with God. It was actually hard for me because God didn't really listened to my prayers and I was upset about all the christian stuff out there. But not anymore. Since I've been a christian since when I was born, I decided to choose God's path and never turn back. Since I've been worshipping, I can't just give up, right? So yeah.

i think you're talking about agnostic.

Agnosticism is when you believe there is not sufficient grounds to determine whether or not there is a true God.

I, for one, am Agnostic.

*shrug* some people choose it just cause, some are born into it, some have good grounds to back up why, i dont know. I think she feels its sad because in the christian religion, and many others, not beliving means your heading to the place with to much heat.

I for one am christian, and dont mind if other people arent, peeps are peeps and homys are homys, friends shouldnt be judged.

Well, I certaintly do not mind who's Christian and who's not, but why must people be be so self-righteous about their beliefs? Just because we're not Christian doesn't mean that we're "sad" or that our life has no meaning, whatnot. Those kind of comments are really offensive. No one should be judged upon one's religion, so why should being Atheist a "sad" thing? I just don't get it.

Okay?

This is why a lot of non-Christians hate Christians. Why do you have to make it seem like you're better? If you expect me to respect you, you'd better respect me too.

Not that I have any problems against Christians, but anyone who is obnoxious about anything pisses me off.

I was baptized with the Holy Water by the church, but I'm an Atheist right now..

And people would look down at me in school.. Because I don't believe in God. That school is a public school, there are about 65% Hispanics, so most of them are Catholics. Great, huh?

They look down on you?

So because they are Catholics they are above you for some reason? I don't know, maybe it's just that group of people. My cousin's a nun and I have Hispanic Catholic friends who do not care that I'm not into religion. Don't worry about it... Hopefully those kids will grow out of it.

Yep.. One time, when we were working on a Social Studies project [8th grader I am.. supposed to be a 9th grade. Fcking school rules, I came from the Philippines and we don't have any 8th grade shit there. So my friends over there are freaking ahead of me] the radio was one and Jesus Walks by Kanye West was playing. And people were like looking at me. And every morning, people would around me, in my 1st period class, in the Pledge of the Allegiance time, emphasize the "under God"

Born and raised catholic. Strict catholic. My mom is the kind of person who hates anyone who isn't catholic and anything remotely "dishonoring" catholisism

I hate the catholic religon. I am an athiest. She still hasn't gotten over it yet. Though wiccan seems really cool.

I'm starting to sense a little hate in this thread now..careful plz people come on.

Anyways History has shown that their will always be conflict as far as religion goes. 2 me there are 2 types of religious people in each religion, the Normal and the Radical. Let me use christianity as an example. The normal christians are normal, like everyone else, except that they are religious. They wish changes done in the community and tries to save those who arents and if they dont want to be saved then its fine. They also go on mission trips and stuff to help people out. I have gone on a few and built houses in mexico for free, it was fun.

Then we have the radical christians. They are sort of the same, but one big difference is insted of wishing changes and trying, they go out there and MAKE sure it happens. IE, rember way back when an abortion clinic was burned down by a group of christians? As far as the christian religion goes, abortion is frowned apon *and heck, even if i wasnt a christian i wouldnt like it, the proccess they go through is just horrible* but they, the radicles, took it to a next step and went out there an did something. Those are the ones who do things that really shouldnt be done, like forcing there reigion on someone or their belifes cause they feel the other persons isnt right.

But on a new thing, we "religious peeps" have been hurt a lot as well. Take hilter and the jews, yes, many jews were burned, toxicated, shot, raped, mutilated, humiliated, starved, and all other sorts of bad bad things. Was it fair? No but thats how things go some times and its sad when it happens. Or in China if you go on a missions trip and you are say giving out bibles or speaking. If the chinese governments find out that youa re doing this you gt thrown in jail and exectuted unless you are REALLY lucky. I know this because a few members from my church were executed last year and it hurt us a lot because we werent forcing just sharing.

So yeah peeps, everyone is hated on, but that doesnt mean we got to do it. So just because im christian, or he's atheist, or she's catholic, or bobs jamacin, cant we just be buddys and forget the stupidity of our past?

word.
