We have to book reports every month and each book has to be from a different genre. I just choose books that I have already read.

I read all of them...mellow.gif
Fully.

I don't get how you can't. We have like tests on each chapter and it's better to be prepared!

Sparknotes doesn't give you everything in detail, and only summarizes. I use sparknotes after I finish reading so I can take notes.

Yeah, if the book interest me, then i'll read it. If it doesn't, i'll re-read it over & over again, 'til it does interest me. other than that, i don't read, i get the answers from my friends. =P i usually read them, to get a good grade.

We have this thing called Acelerated reading, (AR reading) and we have a point goal & a level, and we have to read books that are within our level & get all the points for our goal, or a bunch of points get marked off for our reading grade. stupid.

I read all the books. I'm in Honours, so the teacher expects us to know every little detail about the books.

I like reading, so I read the whole book. I sometimes use Sparknotes to help me study for the tests though... it helps me make sure I know all the important parts/characters of the book.

I've read all, only because my teacher is really strict. He always made us right a page of notes for every chapter and he would give us quizzes on it. The books are always so boring too!

I think we've read a total of about 6 plays in my AP English Literature class, and I haven't read any one of them. I mean, I've read some parts of them, but I've never finished them. So thank god for sparknotes or else I'd be failing the class.

I love reading... actually, it depends on the subject. Textbooks bore me sometimes, but reading novels is one of my favorite passtime. I used to be the first to finish reading anything in my high school english honor classes.

me too! i love books! except....i was first in my middle school honors english. i've only had a trimester of high school english honors. hehe. (i'm only a freshman..blush.gif)

Hmm.. Well I've only read 1 book out of the two assigned to us.. Or wait.. I think there MIGHT have been another? Dunno.
Anyway, the other book that I didn't read I just skimmed.. didn't bother.going on sparknotes.com I was just too lazy! lolol.
ALTHOUGH, we were assigned to read any b ook that we wanted from a list of about 50 books. So I guess I read 2 books out of three. The first book I read over the summer (damn summer reading book) and amazingly, I did pretty well on the test for it as well as the newspaper project -- got a better grade than others, even though I BSed it. _smile.gif =P
