There's this guy I really really like. Thing is, we're both really shy. Yeah, there's lots of eye contact and looking away..Obvious thing would be "Go up to him and talk to him", but I can't do that without turning red as a tomato. -.- This really sucks. Then whenever I do want to talk to him, he's always around his friends. *backs away*
 And the other problem is that I don't know him at all. I don't know any of his friends because he's a freshman and I'm a junior, but we're both 16. I really want to tell him how I feel, but iono. It's hard when I have no classes with him, when I barely know him, and etc. This sounds so stupid... |

... Just wondering... how many grades did he fail, if, in fact, he did fail..
 But okay back tot he situation. One way or another, you haev to talk to him... Maybe he feels the same way too. Take the initiative. Make sure he's alone though.. Sure, you might blust, but it just shows that you really do like-like him, which is really cute :D Try to catch him off guard without his friends clinging to him, that way his friends won't influence him or make fun of him and keep him from telling you how he truly feels.. that is, IF he feels the same way as well. Get to know him better.. introduce yourself. You've got to talk to him.. It will only kill you (well, not literally) more, the more you wait. Do any of your friends know him? Maybe ask him/her to introduce you to him. |

I'm assuming he failed twice because when he was in 7th grade, I was already in high school. *shrugs* None of my friends know him. And he's always with his friends..and when he's not, he's walking really fast, that I can't even catch up to him. -.-

if he likes you alot...he'd get over his fear but if he doesnt then just forget about him...after all why should you be the only one putting up the effort[he doesn't even try and pretend to slow down when he's walking...]

loll i have plenty of friends that r 16 and freshmen... one of them is cuz he failed twice, and the other is cuz he failed once, cuz his bday is at the end of the year :P
but ne ways, one of u should make the first move cuz if u dont, nothing will happen... have a friend come with you to feel more comftorable |

Can you talk to him online first?
That would ease some stress if you could IM him first. But you can't just IM him forever. Once you get to know him a bit and he knows who you are, then it shouldn't be too awkward when you go up and talk to him. Hopefully he has a screenname. |

i'd try and get his SN like Despise said.. and just talk to him there, its way easier to talk to people online and after a while, suggest you go out somewhere and hang out and yeah..

Why are you going out with someone that you barely know. Bring your friends over to his group & make frineds. It's better that way. Or meet him afterschool & talk to him about it. Don't be shy, your 16, you can do it.

16 year old freshman? thats.. crazy lol. but you should definitely ditch the shyness, get some courage and just talk to him. anyway if you don't talk to him then how are you guys going to get together? and if by some miraculous non-talking way you guys get together how would you stay together? don't be shy or embarrassed.. its just a boyyy.

yeah ..i know what its like being shy too ..i get extremely red when i have to talk in front of a large group of people or basically ..people make me really shy and nervous ..
 i dont know when i'll get over it but ..i know that being shy is definitely not a good trait to have ..  that sucks that he doesn't have a computer though, it would be so much easier to talk to him later in real life ..well ..you can start by sending him notes and just use your friends as a messenger

Lol, I only get shy when it's him, but other things such as dancing in front of hundreds of people or talking in front of a crowd, I'm good with that. No blushing or sweating. None of that stuff. It's just him...It's different.
Yeah, I should really talk to him...when he's alone. |

Go for it. My last boyfriend and I were really shy too. But I told one of my friends who sat right next to him in my Advanced Math class, and she told him, and then we just kind of hooked up.
The shy guys are the best. They are a lot more suprising than the average joe who gives you all kinds of signals. But, I hope that this helps! |
