Well.. is that by your standards, or by the boards? If it were by the boards.. then it should have a setting to which that amount of width cannot be containted :P

I will see what I can do. I wonder why they didn't just come up with a page saying 'whoops, we're sorry. Your file dimensions is too large for us!'.

*shrugs*.

Well, I think that's more of an opinion, there's not really a right or wrong answer. Though I think that swearing are merely just words, it's really what you think of the words that matter, it's not much of anything else, and swear words are just like any other words.

well technically...i think it's mentioned in the bible somewhere saying it's a sin...or i'm just making it up...i dunno...but i mean...they call it "swearing" for a reason right and "bad words"???...so i guess it's called that for a reason and so i'm guessing it's wrong...if it wasn't, why wouldn't they let you say these words at school and such???...eh..i used to use curse words a lot..but i've cut back seeing how i really don't need to say words like that...but i still swear when i'm pissed off....oh but i like the word bitch...eh.. huh.gif

There is no "right" or "wrong" to swearing. Sometimes it bugs people, but it's your choice to swear or not, and it's your choice who you swear around. If people don't like it and they think it somehow makes you a worse person, then that's their opinion. But there isn't a universal right or wrong to swearing.

Swearing is f**kin hella neccessary. Swaerwords help share all your f**kin emotions. If you can't think of the right f**kin word to discribe your fellings just replace it with a profanity. Use profanities to intensify sentences and stress certain adjectives. These profanities exist in our dictionaries, why not use them?

Who's to decide whether swearing is right or wrong. I went to the Virgin Islands last summer and hung out with some of the locals and half the swears the used weren't even remotely offensive to me. Conversely, when I called a bad driver a 'f**kin douchebag' they shrugged and only recognized it as something bad because of the tone and the context in which I used the statement.

You just got here and you're wearing out your welcome. Yes this topic is about profanity and its udnerstandable if you use a quote from a particular incident, but you are showing a lack of class.

I swear all the time... just not on message boards happy.gif

I picked up the habit of swearing when I was about 8 or 9 years old... I blame my parents/brothers... My oldest brother would constantly swear at nothing... oh well.

I swear... its a habit. Started using cuss words in the third grade but didn't actually USE them 'till like middle school. I only did it to be "cool" then I stopped. My friend started making me cuss again cause he said he hasnt heard me cuss in a while so thats when I started. I just do it naturally no, sometimes I dont even realise it. I say it in class and I get in trouble for it _dry.gif

I think, as the first post said..it all depends on who you're with. Yes, swearing is just words..But to some people it's offensive. Everyone is offended, or turned off by certain things in life..and people should just respect that. Who knows, maybe someoen out there is offended by the use of the word "Oompa". o_O

I swear sometimes when I get hurt. Like, get a bruise when I fall down or something. So I guess it's just a way to vent off my anger and pain. -shrug- But I don't cuss for no apparent reason.
