I'm too young. Gotta wait like 3 or more years. Well, I'd suggest a easy job at start. I was thinking.. a grocery shop? :] naw.. maybe being a waitress. ;]

I had my first job when I was 9. All my mom had to do was sign a paper agreeing that the place I worked at wasnt gonna pay me, but the groomer was going to pay me. I was a groomers assistant for 2 and a half years. I made about $100 a week.

i'm not getting a job until september but, when i decide get one it really is going to depends on if i have my license/car. if i dont have that then, ima apply at the movies since its like 50 feet away. If i have a car, then the possibilites are endless. I would probably want to work somewhere at the mall because i LOVE to shop and wherever i work, a discount would be wonderful

Now, for the job i want when i get out of college, umm....im not too sure yet but, i am considering

accountant
nurse
doctor
fashion designer
teacher

I don't have a real job right now...i just babysit 2 kids for a couple hours after school. Then, at the end of the week i get $30. It's pretty good paying...and then on days we don't have school i get paid $20 a day and then in the summer when i have to babysit all day i get $100 a week...its not hard.....and i'm happy with the pay... cool.gif But, in a couple years i'm gonna get a real job at like Maurices or American Eagle or something like that....it'll be a good high school job... biggrin.gif

QUOTE(Euphoria Rose @ Jan 19 2005, 9:26 PM)
I don't have a job. But my sister said that in the end of the eighth grade at my school, the school gives you a packet of jobs you could do over the summer before going to high school. I'm not sure if she's absolutely right, but that's what my sister says.
*

Well what do you know? Your sister is right about that. Cause we have just one like that too. Some people don't know about it because they never mentioned it on our tv morning announcement. You just ask for them and they will give you these list of packets. I actually never asked because I forget about it sometimes and I'll be like "Really? I never knew that" Ehh I'm kinda like Dory from Finding Nemo. So maybe tomorrow, I'll say like that haha.

Anyways some school doesn't have it because they are lazy to get their asses to the job areas and see what ages are required to work in certain jobs. So yeah if you want to know, just ask and not wait cause they will never tell you unless you go up to them and ASK.

I wanna be a lawyer. But my teacher has been giving us these lawyer cases, and I'm having second thoughts.

So maybe an engineer or something. I'm not sure, I'm still young.

Do something you like... Rather than working at any random place.

I applied for Panda Express. And then a panda express that's a 20-30 minute drive from my house called and wanted to interview me. Sadly, it was too far away.. :[ I need to find another job that I would enjoy doing.. *sigh* :[
