here's a code if you want to view source from someone...replace URLHERE with the url of the site and copy and paste the code into your web browser.

QUOTE
view-source:URLHERE

Why am I doing this? To show that you can never disable view source.

well sometimes view source can be helpful if you're trying to help someone fix their coding for their subdomain. like my iframes were messed up and i didn't give my friend my password and stuff, i just gave her the url to my subdomain and she tried to help me fix it that way. but anyway, thanks for bringing this up.

i agree its really easy to encrypt it... just make sure that u save ur orginal source, because sometimes u can't get it back with certain encryptors. of course encryption isn't perfect, and be careful, because my firefox view source can view most encrypted browsers without any plugins

if u get a real html encoder, theres no decryptor =) (sorta like hashes) but of course its probably not foolproof

1. You just gave people another way to j0ck.
2. There is no such thing as source encryption.
3. People will ALWAYS find a way to decrypt it.
4. Basically, there's no point in doing it.

well there is source encryption... if u use something like php on another site, the source is automatically hidden... but if we are dealing with html, there is still encryption, but of course theres a way to break it... no matter how much u try... too bad u can't use php on xanga... but the way i protect my links is by putting the links to music and stuff in my flash banner =) actually the music is part of the flash file =)

however- is their a script to prevent remote accessing to xanga, i mean, could you put script in the top of your page to prevent the calling of the view-source command?

something like this:

?

i'm no code guru but would this be a starting point even?
