alright. so i've known this guy alex, since we were really little...our parents are friends and all of that...well, in may of '03 i was at his house, (me and my mom go there a lot for some reason...) and we were hanging out in his room...and all of a sudden he says "i like you"...i was in total shock since i'm not exactley the prettiest girl out there, and i'm kinda, well, fat...but he said he meant it, and we started dating...over that summer we hung out all the time even though he lives about a two hour train ride away form my house...but when i went to school in september '04, i was in 8th grade and he was in 9th, and our relationship got tough...i never got to see him unless there was a holiday...we still talked, but it was super hard, and i was sooooooooooo relieved that summer finally arrived...we spent the whole summer together again, but when time to go to school rolled around again, we both decided to "take a break" over the school year...i mean, i know i shouldn't use the word love, since i'm kinda young, but i do think i love him, and he's told me he loves me too...and when i saw him over thanksgiving and christmas break, we got all lovey dovey and we acted like a total couple (holding hands, making out, ect.)...i'm confused...i guess we're technically still "on a break" and we can see other ppl (which i don't see happening on my side)...but we're still all couple-like when we see each other, so technically, are we together or not? i just wanted another girl's opinion. sorry if this was too long...

Well unless you both communicated to each other that you are seriously "going out" then you are! From the sounds of what you wrote that was not said from either of you. You sould like the type of people called "friend with benefits" I personally dont see anything happening from this unless you two move closer and can find more time for each other. Concentrate on school!

Yeah, you guys are still consider "going out". i wouldn't take it for granite because you wouldn't know if he would be cheating on you because you don't see him everyday. Good luck on that.

sorry to say but this guy , TO ME, seems like he`s using you..like they say outtah sight outta mind..but when you guys are togethter he says he "loves" you --not saying he lied...but isnt it weird you`re only 'GOOD` when you`re together doing stuff?

yeah talk to him about it ... i got a bf who moved to CONNETICUT .. we having some tough times right now ... and its really hard for me .. but i really do love him that i forget i got feelings of mai own .. if your commited to him .. keep it that way .. but taking a break is no good .. i would rather BREAKUP then take a break because thats exactly what its pointing out to ..

He probably thinks you guys are not on a break. Maybe he didn't get what you said when you meant that you wanted a break. So try to talk to him what he is really up to and if he knows that you guys are on a break. Maybe he wants you and doesn't want to have a break during your guy's relationship. So yeah ask him "Are we on a break or are you just playing around? Cause I'm really confused on what's really going on" And By the way, Do you know what Love really is. LOVE is the word where is hard to get and receive. I'm not gona say that you're too young to actually experience the word Love. If you love him, then that means you love him, you won't cheat, you won't use him, you will believe him in anything he says, if he tells you to sacrifice something you love like something that you really really love. But if he says "stop loving your friends of parents" don't listen to him then. But something else that will took your mind away from him.
Also how long have you known him? I don't think you have known him that long? Usually it takes about more than 2 years to experience the word "love". Have you known him for 2 years? First, you have to like him. You can't just love him very fast. It's always the word "LIKE" first. then "LOVE" after more than 2 years. |

I wouldn't say you guys are "technically" together. But you guys have that summer relationship going on which is nice. So don't worry or stress out about it..just take it how it is...when you guys get older, things might change. trust me

angel_roh: i've known alex since i was like, 4 or 5, and i had a crush on him for a while before he told me he liked me...i didn't know that i loved him until this past summer...i really don't know how i knew...but i did... LEDO_D0RKETTE: i noe he's not cheating on me, i'm good friends with a bunch of his friends, and they would have told me, i asked them, and i noe they wouldn't lie to me... i also took some of your advice...i called alex...i asked him wut was up and all...first, he knows that we're technically on a "break", and he said he couldn't take it...that he knew it was hard to date over the school year, but it was harder to not date at all...i may be buying into his lies, or he could be telling the truth...i won't know until i see him next week... |
