Nooby question: how do you bleach your hair? since i really don't dye my hair any colour than really dark shades, i haven't been worrying about it, but uh, now i want to try it. :3. and i haven't found any decent tutorials out there either.

so..any suggestions?

MY MOMMY is a hair dresser.. she just bleached my hair yesterday.. there is a mixture for it.. if your hair is a dark brown it will just end up looking like a skunk. my friend got it done.. thank god she decided to dye it back.. you could you hydrogen peroxide too...but thsat washed out or fades after a while.. lemme ask my mom real quick what the mixture is!!.........ELEVATOR MUSIC...... whistling.gif

20% volume creme developer
equal parts to clarol powdered bleach (b2)

but shes also been doing hair and nails for 18 years...
if you have anymore questions ill answer you back!!

dont bleach fully to your scalp IT WILL BURN pinch.gif
leave it in for about 30 minutes.. but it also depends on how light you want it.. shorter time will result in a more orangy color.. longer time will result in a whiter color.. while your product is in.. check it a few times.. you can also help determine the color that way.. once its at the rite point... rinse very well.. shampoo.. condition repeat if you like.. if you go to blowdry or straighten/curl with an iron make sure it is all washed out very well.. heat doesnt go well with bleach!

That bleach jolen is for stuff like eyebrows and facial hair.

Well I don't recommend bleaching it. There are now hair dyes for dark hair that make it lighter without having to bleach it. You can buy it at walmart or target.

Get a thing of hair bleach, it should have instructions with it. That's what I did, you leave it on depending on how dark or light your current hair color is. Or just get it done professionally if you have the $.

oh yeah if you bleach your hair, make it last about more than 30 minutes because if you just wash it right after you bleach it and it took about like lesser than 20 minutes, you can lose the bleach in your hair so it's not good. heh hmm i read in some magazines that the star mentioned what they use to bleach their hair.. i heard that they use foods to bleach their hair? so i think they said kool-aid? I think that's what I heard >.<;;;;;

I just bleach my facial hairs not my real hair, my mom would get a fork and stab me to death if she figured out I ever tried to bleach my hair.
