How can he sign into his xanga? When he tries to sign it it says the website is on the blocked list or whatever....

well parents aren't stupid. they dont wanna spoil him/her too much. life is limited at times and computer is one of them. their trying to teach him/her some valuable lesson.

^ if it is blocked using a program, you'd have to know the admin password to unblock it.

I didn't say they were stupid for blocking it only.
Like I said......... you don't know his parents. But can we focus on unblocking? He just wants to update. |

Ok........... Why would you be thinking about his parents? Why would you bother to assume anything about them, even? Maybe insted of trying to create controversy (that one was a bit of a stretch, Sean) we can fix the problem?

if his parents blocked it, he probably can't get into it from his computer. if he wants to get on, just go to someone else's house! and look on the bright side, at least they didn't block createblog!

You just got to figure a way to crack the password. I bet his parents block the site by adding it to the block list in the Tools>internet options.
