Mozilla is great. Firefox is better in my opinion, because you can download extensions so the browsers fits your needs. It reduces space on your computer and time to load it up and such.
Don't use IE!!!! It's filled with security holes. Why do you think Microsoft has to throw out all those patches and Windows Updates all the time? Ugh!! I cannot wait to just get rid of Windows and go straight to Linux. |

QUOTE(masu_misairu @ Aug 10 2004, 7:16 AM) i really like firefox...very comfortable to use, n even though i dont know much on tweakin, i can sense a slight increase of speed in web surfing. only time i dont use firefox is: 1) i wanna just type in an FTP url w/o having to load cuteFTP or whatever 2) see xangas other than that...its nice! :D btw long, u think its possible to have firefox see xangas correctly? i still dont understand why IE n netscape r the only ones to see them correctly.. yeah firefox has problems also with websites that have flash. plus it has no active x support so any media on a website that calls for windows media player won't work. that's why those drop down music players don't work in firefox either. |

I usually use Firefox cause of the tab feature. I've rarely used IE since I've gotten Firefox.

Find out about Firefox
i use firefox. after i switched to firefox, i haven't have ONE virus or spyware. and it's a whole lot faster. and i can have plug ins... really cool ones... and themes... and adblocker ( i don't see the google ads at the page bottom) and i can with right click open something in IE, so i can view xangas. |

FIREFOX. :]
The reason Firefox sometimes has trouble showing xangas correctly is because of Gecko, its browser engine, which is also used by Mozilla and Netscape. Gecko has trouble reading a lot of CSS correctly. However, I usually don't have too much trouble with this, and I find Firefox to be much cleaner and sleeker than IE. |

I think there are some codes on Xangas that are IE specific, so they don't work in Firefox.
I still use Firefox as my default browser; extensions galore- its extremely customizable. When I need to view a page in IE, I use Maxthon. The tabbed browsing in Maxthon is the best I've seen, and it has fairly easy-to-use pop-up browsing. But it still uses IE core, and it's been messing up my computer lately. |
