In bible school. My mom asked God what her plans should be for the future. And God made my mom dream about getting married with my dad. She dreamed that more than once so she prayed and prayed that she will wait until my dad goes to her and propose her. And finally, my dad really loved my mom... my mom didnt force her. she didnt really like to be with guys that much because she was busy teaching students how to play the piano well. but my dad really loved her and proposed her. they knew since the last 3 years before their marriage or I think it was more than 5 years hehe.

I've heard the story about 1,000 times. He saw her when his best friend and he were over at her house to see her older sister. He though she was good looking and asked her to homecomming.
So They are highschool sweethearts. *gag* |

I just asked my parents how they meet. Okay, here's how it goes. My father's family owned a hospital in Pampanga called Birhen de los Remedios Hospital. My mom was hired there to teach nursing to other people interested to work as a nurse in that hospital (Yes, she is a nurse, and a nursing teacher). My father saw my mom, teaching, and went to the office to look at her address. My dad mailed my mom a love letter, and it worked. However, my mom's dad works in the army, and doesn't want anyone to take my mom, yet. My dad went to my mother's house, well, outside of the gate. My dad was asking my mom out, but my mom's dad doesn't want to, so he hold up a gun. But until my grandfather noticed that my father is so in love with my mom, he finally agreed to let her out with my dad. Then they got married! They still have their love letters, laminated. I keep reading it, because it's too romantic. So.

My mom remembers seeing my dad when she was about 12 or so sitting int he car and he parked next to her (he was about 16 at the time.) Years later, I think a friend set them up. She didn't like him, but she went out with him to make some other girl jealous. Heh heh. I guess they kind of grew on each other... and here we are today.

My Mom first met my Dad when she was 10 and he was 20. Their parents stayed behind each other. When my mom was 18 they started dating and got married when my Mom was 20 and my Dad was 30. The end =)

my parents met over the phone. She was in Ohio and dad was in Florida. They both worked in the airlines. They had to talk to each other to give traffic reports and all that airport stuff and they "liked" each other voices lol so they started talking. Dad was working for the Fed ex airlines and he'd catch a plane up to Ohio and stuff and she would go down to Florida. so yea they "hung out" or whatever they called it back then, and one time mom was in Florida, dad came down from some flight in the north and since it never snows in Florida, dad brouht down a couple of trash bags full of snow from where ever he was and he started throwing snowballs at everyone and everyone in the whole terminal stopped to have a snowball fight haha in Florida! the whole terminal stopped opperating. Thats when my mom said she first knew she loved me dad. haha, i like my parents story

im not sure; my mom lives more towards the west of the east side of china. And my dad lives more of the east side. And my dad came from a wealthy famliy, but my mom was the opposite. so im nto sur ehow they met.. school maybe?

my mom and dad worked out the same restaurant. but they worked different shifts so one day they were working on the same shift and that's all i know. i didn't want to get into detail. my mom was 18 and my dad was 20.

my dad was in the navy and he was like to visit the philippines...he decided to go eat in a resturant. While he was doing that he met my mommy... of course she bearly knew english and stuff since she never been to america... But my mommy allready had 5 kids b4 she married my dad. so i have one sister but she has a dad four brothers and they all have dads... but i have an american dad
 so she decidsed to bring my mommy to america and then. we went to the philippines and brought my sister and Brothers.. over but WAIT! b4 she had me they got married in a flower shop... so sweet huh?

My dad likes the story, I think it's cute, in a nice way. My mom made a bowl of pho (Vietnamese noodles, they're pretty good) for my dad and so he thought it was delicious, and decided to try for a second date. All went well and my daddy proposed.

My mummy wasn't allowed to finish her education, and her father forced her to marry. The first man they arranged, my mummy refused, in protest. My grandfather {her father} beat her that night. The next man she was arranged to marry was my father. They are married. Wasn't that a romantic story?
