No, we usually go to Bennihanas :] It's my Mom's birthday too on my birthday, so we have a double birthday celebration.

Does your family/race have any birthday traditions?
My mom and I were talking about this once, and she said that when I turn eighteen we're gonna' celebrate it in some sort of filipino traditional way or something like that..
I forgot what it was called...pinch.gif
But I don't know..it's something that when a filipino girl turns eighteen something takes place.
Well, I think it's a filipino tradition..huh.gif
This probably doesn't make much sense..but oh well..lol. happy.gif

So what about you guys?

yeah i know what you're talking about! a debut! biggrin.gif i was gonna have one but i turn 18 in november so i'd already be in university soo my family decided that i'd have my big birthday thing on my 16th birthday and so i did. happy.gif

Our is just picking dinner that night, usually a fast food place. I think girls in my family get a birthstone ring for their 16 birthday.
