Males have more upper body strength. They could hurt the girl. (not cool)  Also, the guy should be treating the girl well, taking her out, showing affection, etc.      Affection. NOT violence.

it might have just been a reaction. cause i know when some one hits me i try to hit them back. it's just a reaction and like if some one touches my shoulder i puch them back. so yeah it might have been a reaction. but u did hit him first. but he still shouldn't of hit a girl thats just low.

how can you say something like "girls are allowed to hit and not the men"? men have every right to do the same thing back if provoked. just because they are arguing doesn't mean she couldn't have settled it like adults with him and hear him out. she shouldn't have to slap him in the face just because he's telling her what she doesn't want to hear. when you say a stupid remark like "girls are allowed to hit and not the man" then what if some bitch starts pounding her bf just bc she did something that he doesn't appreciate. does that mean he should just sit there and take it? no way!

wow I disagree with so many people on this. Yes you hit him.. but I dont think he should've hit you back. So many guys I know tell me they could never ever hit a girl. And they'd hate another guy if they knew they'd hit a girl. So I think it wasnt right for him to slap you back.

I completely agree. One reason guys shouldn't hit girls is that they're stronger, just naturally having more muscle, (most of them) etc- it's the way they're built. So doing the same thing back would result in hurting the girl a whole lot more than she had hurt the guy.
And hitting a girl is just low.

well... hitting him wasn't exactly the way you should've gone, so i can kind of see why he did it, but that still doesn't give him the right to hit you back. he should have been the one to back off and just leave it at that, but he crossed the line.

Growing up i was abused, i never hit back, but then when i got older like jr. high and highschool if someone smacked me i'd instantly smack them back, it was just like a reflex.
