Umm, see, I got my ears pierced back in the Summer... and they still aren't healed. I waited the 6 weeks to change my earrings, but it still hurts to put them in. Could they be infected? I don't know how though... I've cleaned them with an ati-septic every day of those six weeks, and frequently after. But, still, the first time I took them off, and put new ones in, it hurt.
 Hmm, feel free to close this if you want. I did search for other topics like this... but I'm not sure if it would fit into the infection ones  So... any idea what's wrong? [edit] Sorry I spelled ear wrong.

Hmm..it might be the earing, like me, most of the ear rings that I can wear without getting an infection have to be gold. Hmm..yes yes...

hmm if u just got your ears pierced isn't there a certain time when u can't take it off? mine are healed considering i got mine when i was 2 years old hehe. But i guess it just takes time to heal.. i guess u don't keep taking it out then putting it back in. mine healed b/c i kept it on everysingle day never took it off onless i change my earing and shen i go swimming.. so i guess it just takes some time to heal

this is exactly why my ears arn't peirced
 the other reason is that my mom wont' let me. but...why cut a hole in your ear? what is the point? gosh....stupid fashions... |

 Didn't know this was active still... My ears are fine now though. I just had to take the earrings out for a while Then put them back in, and leave them for another month. Oh well, thanks again

weird. i took mine off in about four weeks and the first day i got it, it didnt hurt at all when i twisted it around and stuff. maybe thats just me..my ears like..invincible. i stuck seven staples in my ears and they didnt get infected.

I got my first ears pierced when I was a baby.
So i dont really remember that but ive had many, many more since hen. maybe you didnt clean it enough? if i were you id go bck to the place i got them done and talk to them. dont put fake gold/silver earrings in. your ears may be irritated to the stuff the earrings are made of? |

I pierced my own cartilege with the same earring that I got the first piercing with and mine healed in a week. I swam with it and stuff the day after because I had swim practice and they're fine.

it took 2-3 months for my first lobe ones to heal. my 3rd hole in my right lobe has closed up. gosh i'm going to have to re-pierce it..again.
