i have coins from 10cents, 20cents, 50cents, $1, $2, $5, and $10 too.

which hongkong are you guys from? i'm from the hongkong that's in china...

same here. That's because 10 cents in hong kong money is around 1 penny and well, 10 dollars in hong kong money is like $1.3 dollar in us money... so it's all pretty much the same thing.

... They have one-dollar Susan B Anthony coins. We use that lol. I have some random foreign coins and I can't really read what it says on them.. so... I don't really KNOW whether or not it's a dollar. And since the currency in different countries vary (in name), I'm not exactly sure. I think I have some canadian money that my half sister gave me. ermm.gif It might be in... dollars... in their currency.

And my niece, she was looking through her change, and she found an actual 1 dollar coin. It looks real, but it's huge. Bigger than the 5-cents coin! I have to take a picture of it next time I visit her wink.gif

QUOTE(Wishful Thinking @ Dec 30 2004, 7:52 AM)
gosh i hate us.  last summer, i went to visit ... my dad was thirsty and he wanted to buy a water bottle that was one dollar.  he accidently took out a one hundred dollar bill because it's so hard to tell the stinkin difference. and the stupid person that sold it wouldn't give him back his money.  it was so pissing.  the cashier lady even HID the money in her pocket.  my dad was angry, but he didn't know how to get it back so we were pissed off.
*

If it was a cashier you take the reciept and go the nearest police station, if you have proof you'd get it back no problem. If she dosnt offer reciepts you could have filed a complaint and she would have been forced to close down until she can start giving them out. My dad did that once when the person claimed my dad gave him a $5 instead of a $50.

Hong Kong...and personally, I like their money better. It's so pretty...colorful, beautiful examples of the architecture...I'm jealous.

And I have a few coins from Japan still. I just like the look of foreign currency!
