Mhm. I think lyrics in away messages are annoying. Sometimes, if you don't even know the song, you're just gonna read it and go
 ??Not to mention if the lyrics repeat and you dont know it. Like the same words in some songs.. haha. I'd be like wth?! whats your opinion? |

i use lyrics sometimes.
because there are good songs out there. i'm not talking about like popular ones. just ones like straw dog by something corporate. and evanescence lyrics. and stuff like that. and it's a lot less annoying that "i am away from my computer right now" |

They do get really annoying, but sometimes I put my own lyrics in there...just to see if people will ask me where that's from.

I do that sometimes. I find it annoying too, but I do it anyway. But of course, I put in the point and say I'M AWAY.

i never really found the point of putting AWAY or soemthing in your away message.
i mean, we see the yellow notepad, we get the " ____ is away" message, do you really think we don't know you're away? |

nah i dont' find it annoying.
Sometimes people can't express how they're really feeling at the moment, and so they use a song that best describes their feeling. I don't find that annoying. but if people do find it annoying, then don't read the song

Those do get a kinda annoying but I don't really read away messages anymore.

I agree with you, Toby. Sometimes when I read away messeges that has lyrics in them, I get annoyed. Sometimes people put the WHOLE lyrics and they EXPECT you to read it all. Who has time for that bull?

it sometimes bothers me. it would make me go like "Oh man, im not updated, i gotta listen to the song!" sometimes, ahaha. but if it's a song i know, doesn't matter to me.

But I hate when other people steal them and they don't even know what song it is! But yeah, I don't put like, 5 paragraphs of lyrics, maybe just 1 or something... |
