Hi, remember me? I'm no longer really a KingdomHeartsFan, but I would like to discuss something that is very important to me. My friendship between my new made friends and my old made friends. My old made friends wants me to hang around with them more often, but usually, it seems like they talk about something I don't usually understand about, and they will sometimes tease me about it, and I obviously hate that. My new made friends do the same thing, but they tease me in a gentle way, and they sometimes make fun of themselves, to make me happy. My OLD friends never did that. But my old friends say I only like hanging around my new friends, cuz they are guys, and that's not true! (heh, my old friends are girls, what can I say?) i only like hanging around with them becuase I feel happy around them, but when I'm with my old friend, the happiness is still there, but not as much as I am with my new friends. my old friends also say that they'll go away, breaking my heart, which is kinda true, becuase they have to go to high-school, and it owuld be a verylong time before I would see them again. which side should I choose? The old or the new? (also, I tried putting them together, but they hate each other. . .)
 Please help me ASAP. and go gentle. . .

I'm not too good at advice, but if your old friends make you feel that way, it's wrong. Why can't you simply hang out with the both of them? If they are all your friends, they would understand that you like all of them. ...Hopefully, that makes sense.

Yah, I know what you mean, but my old friends just don't wanna hang out with my new friends. Seems like their trying to tell you what to do. -.- I hate it when it comes to choosing friends, but for me, it's like "It's my life. If you don't like the way I live in, later!"

I think they're bitter because they don't have you around as often as before, maybe thinking that your new friends are taking you from them. Maybe if you hang around your old friends more you'll understand the jokes, and you shouldn't be so sensitive when they tease you like that. Y'know they're just kidding. :happy:Don't choose sides or you're going to lose friends.

Okay, tell me WHY you can't hang out with both of them? When you have old friends, and get new friends, doesn't mean you have to ditch your old friends. Try splitting time to time with each group, but if you want to ditch one group fine. I would ditch the old friends because you seem like you don't want to hang out with them. Whatever makes you happy, so you should hang out wiht the new. It seems like you are making yourself hang out with them.

well if your old freiends make you feel so bad, they really arent good friends. maybe you should talk to them about how they are making you feel, and maybe you will get some insight on what they are feeling too. and for your old friends feeling like you arent hanging out with them as much, if you still want to hang out with them, invite your old frienda and your new friendsa over to your house to hang out, or hang out with them all at the mall or whatever.

you'd need to think which one are really your friends. what if both you ask? well, if they're really your friends they'd be upset if you said you weren't talking to them again, and would try to figure out why, you know? hmm... i dunno if i make sense. |

This is common sense...go for the friends that make you happi...there are no "old" or "new" just friends that you knew...either good or close or best friends....think about it and then just decide on who you would be better off knowing.

well i think it's really your decision.
if you want to hang out with both; explain to your old friends what you told us; and if they're not happy about it, then go hang out with your new friends. If they really were your friends, they would understand. It also seems like you like your new friends more. So think about it. Friends will always come and go; but you just got to know which one is for keeps. |
