lyrics in away messages.

Mhm. I think lyrics in away messages are annoying. Sometimes, if you don't even know the song, you're just gonna read it and go huh.gif ??

Not to mention if the lyrics repeat and you dont know it. Like the same words in some songs.. haha. I'd be like wth?!

whats your opinion?

the only song lyrics i put on my away msg's was a chorus to this song and its a good song. but they annoy me too on other ppl's away msg's.

I don't use lyrics from well-known songs in my away-messages. But people I know don't use lyrics, period. So I can't say.

... I've never seen anyone put a bunch of song lyrics in their away msgs. Maybe in their Buddy Profile (Info), but that's about it.

Although some of my friends would put soem quotes in their away message, having a hidden meaning behind it. I try not to ponder about it for too long, since I'm sort of slow and I decide to wait until they come back to tell me what the quote(s) mean. Haha =P I'm slow, I know.

Anyway, maybe the song reflects their emotions, at that time... Maybe they're sad and away crying or something.. who knows... it doesn't bother me personally that they would put song lyrics in their away message. =P

well i always put lyrics up in my away messages most of the time. if you guys get annoyed by it cause you guys dont know the song..thats just your fault. no one ever complained to me aabout my annoying lyrics. maybe cuz they werent? theyre cool about it. this is a first time where i see ppl saying theyre annoyed.

I put lyrics in my away messages O_O;

I don't think it's annoying.. I know a lot of people who do put lyrics in their away messages .. I only read some of it and if it's boring and meaningless then I'll stop. But if I start to like it, then I'll continue reading and yeah. There are some really good lyrics out there..

I just find it annoying. Have a problem? =P
Some girl was puttig this song.. and she spelled it wrong, and got the lyrics wrong.
Dude, if you're going to put lyrics in your away message, at least look up the RIGHT lyrics. pleaaaaase.

I don't mind people putting lyrics up as their away messages. I do it too. Like Seon Ho said, it isn't about the song, it's about the meaning behind the lyrics.

i don't think it's annoying. sometimes there are deeper meanings to the song to them so that's why they put it as an away message. and also, sometimes it relates to how they feel or to why they are away. like if it's a sad song, then maybe they are away because they are crying or something like that.

I put lyrics in my away messages if 1. I can't describe how I'm feeling or 2. I can't think of anything to put in my away.

People on my list are constanly using lyrics and quotes for profiles and aways.

the only lyrics i put up are depressing ones whenever i'm upset, but usually i put up something about what i'm doing

well, i use lyrics in my away messages sometimes- usually to describe how i'm feeling or whatever. but then, i also include what i'm doing too. i don't find it annoying...
