Oh yes, people would send themselves to Hell, like they have the power to do that . I would send myself to Heaven, too, if it were a choice and if I believed in it. But for some dog-gone reason, it's not in one's hands to be in Heaven or Hell, it's God's.

How can you say that non-believers send themselves to Hell? I don't get that logic.

Jesus didn't fight back because never was a time when he needed to. he warned them not to fight back because they were officers of the law that didn't contradict God's plan. you turn the other cheek but what does it say to do after that? nothing. self-defense isnt a sin. I know PLENTY of people who are completely and utterly Atheist but wouldn't even think about killing someone. In fact, if the whole world was run by Atheists I think it would run just the same way.

I'm not Christian, but I have a lot of the same morals that religion preaches. I won't go out and kick someone's ass just because I don't have the guidance of something "perfect."

As far as I'm concerned, if everyone on this planet were Christian, there still would be no world peace. Just like I said before, if we were all Atheists there still wouldn't be world peace, but certainly no World War III.

So what if you're not perfect? You learn from your mistakes. I haven't been guided by God and I'm still perfectly moral and humane. But not "perfect." There's nothing wrong with being "imperfect."

I would appreciate it if you would be more respectful of other people's beliefs, and not insult them in that way you do.

Im almost certain you aren't talking about something i said. I haven't said anything that even resembles that. going to heaven has nothing to do with morals. If there was nothing wrong with being imperfect then why is it imperfect? What is wrong with a WW3? I am respectful of other peoples beliefs, but remember this is the debate section.

You can get out there and play the game but that doesn't mean that you'll win for sure. Don't get so cocky now .

Anyway, it isn't in my hands. God gave me free will, and made me choose for myself. I choose partial disbelief (because of Deistic influences), but then I am said to have chosen wrong. It is out of my hands, because I no matter what I choose I am wrong, and must go back to God and do what He tells me to do. This means no free will, which goes against His gift.

So, to believe would be throwing His great Gift back in His face because I'm not choosing for myself, I'm letting Him choose for me.

We love because it is in our nature, just as it is in our nature to hate, and be envious, greedy... etc. The use of love in general is balance.

Love holds a different meaning to each person so the following does not pertain to everyone but myself:

Love can be simple or complicated, strong-willed or weak-minded. How we love, lightly or passionately, gives a hint to who we are. If humans do not love, humans do not survive because humans wouldn't have a sense of self or belonging.

We're special because we're capable of emotion, and I can say the same about many animals. Thus, we're all special in some way.

Someone who is not capable of love is a threat, but that doesn't mean we can't teach him/her to love.

I love to be able to live. But it is that I am able to CHOOSE how to love and who to love that makes me happy, and the same can be said about you loving God.

I cannot rebuttal that fully with my belief because I believe the same, but from an Atheist point of view, it IS in our nature. Love comes from chemical reactions which makes perfect sense to me.

With my concept, love is in our nature because love is experience. You cannot love something that you do not have experiences with, expections, or memories of it. Therefore, it's in our nature to learn to love. Of course, love is many things, not just feelings between man and woman.

I've seen only 10 minutes of the movie from a girl's night out long ago.

Anyway, I have said that many prayers go unanswered. So, you would have to wait in a long line for God to grant you such an immunity, but you'd be dead by then. Perhaps you'll be with Him quicker that way. I don't know.

It isn't their time for what? If God answers the essential prayers, the ones that would actually matter like saving lives or stopping wars, then that would make sense. Why help those who already have enough wealth to last two lifetimes? Why not help those who has nothing?

its not that u dnt believe in Christianity, its if you believe that God sent down his son, Jesus to die for our sins, and believing by faith, now thats a Christian, its true that you will got to hell if you arent a christian...[thats what my family keeps teelin me haha]
