why is everyone so obsessed with her?
i mean she's hot and all.. but there are like at least ten people you can find with her in their signature and everyone is making blends, vectors, pictures, etc..of her.

I don't know.
I personally think Adriana is overrated. Some people list her as their "favourite model", when really, she doesn't qualify for a model. In the fashion industry, all she is known for is her VS advertisements and runway shows.And nothing else. Basically, her editorials have been given bad reviews, done no runway show other than VS, and covers: none. Only on ones like Maxim, GQ, etc, which are not fashion magazines. I mean, at the very least, worship Gisele Bundchen. She has the sex appeal of Adriana and she is actually considered a successful model. Editorials: endless. Runway shows: endless. Covers: endless. But, this is coming from someone who doesn't understand the appeal of import models like Kaila Yu or Tila Nguyen. Give me Isabeli Fontana any day. Even Erin Wasson over them. *shudder* |

hmm... adriana lima IS a model, whether you think she qualifies or doesn't qualify...
she's been in magazine ads INCLUDING armani, bebe, etc... not JUST victoria secrets... and just the fact that she's been on the runway makes her a model. that's her profession. her face is mainly what makes her appealing to most designers (you mentioned blends and vectoring). i think it's her eyes because they have a sort of alluring look. i dont think i've ever done a vector of her though. personally, i like models like Gisele, Josie Maran, Estella Warren, and Heidy Plum better. |

^ Sorry, I worded incorrectly.
That was just my opinion. Yes, I do consider her a model, but just not a very prominent one. If you want an idea of people I consider one of the top in the industry, I'd have to say Daria Werbowy. Of course, she does all the uber-high fashion. Adriana is much more commercial. |

well i'm not sure what all the hype is about her but i just find her really pretty and i did a few blends of her because i liked those pics from the victorias secret site lol i tried to do one of gisele but it turned out ugly
