Umm, see, I got my ears pierced back in the Summer... and they still aren't healed. I waited the 6 weeks to change my earrings, but it still hurts to put them in. Could they be infected? I don't know how though... I've cleaned them with an ati-septic every day of those six weeks, and frequently after. But, still, the first time I took them off, and put new ones in, it hurt. pinch.gif

Hmm, feel free to close this if you want. I did search for other topics like this... but I'm not sure if it would fit into the infection ones ermm.gif

So... any idea what's wrong?

[edit]
Sorry I spelled ear wrong. pinch.gif

I had mine since 6. Maybe you're not allowed to wear those kind of earrings. It happens.

i got my second holes done last year, they're fine now, but it's probably since when you put in a new earring, you miss the back hole pinch.gif

i got my second whole done since i was in the 7th grade but it healed after that, but maybe you should use alchol or something it might burn but it will help the healin process or use peroxicide, it maybe take some time.

Hm it's probably the infection? Cause even though you take care of it, you can still get them. It happened to my mom. If it's not an ear infection, you should check out with the doctor unless you don't want to cut your ear down

They could be. That's the same thing that's happening to my best friend's eyebrow piercing, and she got hers more than a year ago. You should go back to the place where you got it pierced ot go see a doctor.

just wait before changing them again. leave some nice gold studs or something in them so that you can leave them in until they dont hurt anymore. you shouldnt change your earrings if they hurt. and if it doesnt get better, you should probably just let them heal and get your ears repierced when they are healed.

everybody's healing time is different but i think it's normal for it to hurt when you change it, your ears gotta get use to it

Maybe, it takes longer to heal for you, just leave on the ear rings you first wore when you got your ears pierced & wait till it doesn't hurt? Ask your mom or the ear piercing person.

It's most likely infected. Sometimes your body rejects a foreign object and this could be the case. Just take them out and they'll close up.

it sounds like you might have an infection, but i'm not sure. I'll ask my mom because she's assistant manager in claires and she pierces ears all the time. I'll post whenever i find out!

you should use peroxide or achohol to clean it instead of antiseptic.you should also ask your doctor if you can only wear 14k earrings.i think piercing your ears at a store like Claires and stuff will cause an infection, its happened to me before.

Thanks everyone =].

Um, it's just a love piercing.

And yeah, I only wear silver and gold earrings now. Whenever I wear
the other kinds overnight the hole bleeds sometimes, and has this...
umm... stuff coming out.

Hmm, but thanks, I'll try some of your suggestions ^^.

Yeah, I always get my mom to put the earring in cause I'm liked scared
to do it myself. --; She always has to go in from the back first...
