I dont have braces or anything but a couple of my friends have braces, one plays tenor saxophone and she got used to it, and the other plays trumpet and she always say that you get kinda used to it. x_o

DO YOU MEAN A FLUTE OR A RECORDER ? ALOT OF PEOPLE GET MIX UP W/ THE MEANING.

i'm going to get braces soon =( .. i dont know what will happen next ..

recorders dont count for shit. she means real flute, seeing as thats actually an instrument

i play clarinet and i had to play with braces for 2 years.. it hurt so bad.. the bottom brackets made indents on the inside of my mouth and sometimes whenever i practiced for a really long time, it would bleed.. but its ok you get used to it..

it's really awkward the first few times you play, your mouth will even get a little cut up.. ok, a lot cut up. you'll get used to it though, really quickly. lucky that the mouth piece is big, unlike the trumpet.

lets get this straight. this thread only applies to wind instruments. no string instruments. no percussion instruments. no recorders boredaznidiot *cough*. wind instrument. like band instruments, minus the percussion. ie clarinets, flutes/piccolos, tuba/seusaphones, trumpet, baritones/euphoniums, french horn/mellophones, saxophones, basoons, obes and all their variations
