I read the first post (the post made by the topic starter). If that topic has a lot of replies (more than 3 pages), I usually just all the replies on the first page and those replies on the last page... THEN REPLY.

i read most replies, unless its a boring topic in which no one elses opinion and quoteable to mine, and then i dont. like "whats your favorite fruit" or whatnot. i dont want to read through 3 pages of apples and bananas

i read some skip some and reply. I usually read the first page, got to the bottom, click the add reply button and don't bother going to the second page unless that topic is interesting.
