my last name is eng...it used to be ng but my dad's side of the fmaily changed it to eng when they moved to america because it would be easier for people to pronounce it

it's pronounced like ing (swimming, biking, singing) but people have pronounced it as "annj" and "ang" how the f*ck does eng look like it's pronounced annj???
