i was wondering how do u make the text clear like in Xquizit's picture from her tutorial.. i was wondering how because the style would go great with thep icture i have..if someone could help me i'd greatly appreciate it :) thank u..

here is an example its the beautity part the larger clear part style
this picture belongs to Xquizit,,,, i just want to know how she got the text clear, and i wasnt sure how to explain it :) without showing u Xquizit's picture

i have photoshop 7, PSP7, 8 and 9 and MS paint and image ready :)

well in photoshop (psp is almost the samething), change your blending mode to screen or overlay then bevel-emboss it

well in photoshop, go to blending options for the text layer and lower the fill. that's all.

Everyone pretty much answered your question... But I also want to add...

Make SURE that when you type the text while using Adobe Photoshop, change the style... Don't have it as none. I suggest crisp, since that's what I always go with anyway. I'll show you the menu (make sure you have the text selected along with the text tool):



I hope that helped. You'll notice the font looks smoother and better as well.
