Break up songs, which are the best?

I often find comfort in songs for when i go thro emotional troubles...and it looks like me and my boy friend are most likely breaking up... sad.gif

does anyone have any suggestions for some good breakup songs? I only have a few on my computer right now, such as "how could an angel break my heart" by toni braxton. thanks

"burn" usher (i think this the most used break up song... or where people find themselves thinking about breakin up.... i know i have thought a bout it when i listen to it)

(im not sure about ths one... it's from the islands, you might be able to get it)

I agree... you need to listen to songs that will make you happy. Party type songs.

usher burn is the best one.. mehhhh me and my ex bf listened to it together and cried! *snifflez* hehee.. very moving.

oh also aaliyah "the one i gave my heart to" OMG thats a good song

it might be true, but i really need to just get all these emotions out of me, u know? cuz if i was juss gunna listen to happy music, i would never be able to cope, dwell, and move on. it would be like i was pretending everything was fine.

i dunno maybe i am just wallowing, but i juss need some sad music to dwell with for a few days before i can get over it all..

Burn is a great song. so super sad

That's true about having to cope with it. BTW I don't think I've heard that Usher song, I'm gonna download it right now and listen to what all the fuss is about happy.gif

anyone a weird al fan? I would reccomend "Since you've been gone" and "I'm so sick of you" because that's just plain hilarious and a load of comic relief one needs after breaking up.

i agree with those talking about listening to happy songs. blast your speakers and put on a fun dance song, try not to listen so hard to the lyrics but more towards the beat and how you feel listening to the song. don't be sad!
