who would have time to make and summit forum skins? If there are people who have that kind of time, i still think it's a bad idea cuz then createblog's skin would look different every once in a while.

hmm.. well it would be interesting, but createblog skins are way more complicated that xanga or blogger skins.. it takes a lot of work, effort and time into putting a cb skin together. I just don't know how many people would be willing to do that...and complete a nice and neat skin....

yea sounds like it'd be a super complicated thing. a cB skin won't be like making a xanga skin, it'll be much much MUCH longer and harder.

oh my god please don't, this other forum i was at, the person who ran the forum decided to play around with switching the skin/layout/whatever to make it look better it hurt my eyes because everytime i posted the color would change
 and i had to change the font color of all my posts

... Skins? Well... Let's just wait until Jusun's done with the whole outlook of cB first. But anyway, I don't think there would be much submissions anyway. And if I ever considered making a createBlog skin... I'd probably just make some banner with the words createBlog on it and some other stuff... I don't think many people would know how to skin the entire createBlog, don't you think?

wha????? we already have createblog skins, but if you're talking about--after you submit it...you want people to see it? nooo wayy i dont like that idea. i rather let the mods see which skins are the best to display---that's better.

that sounds like a good idea. Good luck to whoever wants to make one though.
as for the confusion factor, why couldn't we just go to my controls and change it to what we want? Like with a drop down menu and stuff...previews would be in the forum.

I think we shouldn't because I don't think many people would be able to do a skin for everything for Createblog. And because I'm already used to this one and I think it looks fine, perfectly fine.
