whatever you get make sure it`s ceramic that is the best one for hair. well for me this christmas i got a revlon one i think that was on sale for like 10 bucks. but while you are looking for one, just ask one of the people working there to recommend something.

Is the brand name "hot tools"? I've never heard of them... are they ceramic? What type of hair do you have?

Also have any of you heard of the ions in a straightener? The more the better... all I know is that my hairstylist was talking about them and something about energy that I wasn't paying much attention to... Chi irons have some hgh measure of ions.

Yeah the brand name is "hot tools" and my hair isnt curly or wavy..its straight once i blow dry it but when i tie it up the next day i got that stupid lump..so i straighten my hair cuz of that..but the hot tools works really well..and its ceramic.. its supposed to not damage ur hair.. keep it healthy smooth shiney and silky.. o and straight

I don't really have that much time to get ready in the morning. Can anyone recomend a good straightener that works quickly on thick hair?
