even though its kind of sad and all but i remember i used to be anorexic SORTA? .. i remember i kept thinking i was fat and fat and i should lose weight so i can look better to myself .. but then i saw on lifetime the effects of being anorexic nd i started to think hummz .. sooo i stopped nd now i eat X: but being anorexic is a disease its not something someone WANTs to be .. its happens by a simple innocent diet and then becomes into a big anorexic or bulimic problem ... people do it to feel good about themselves either from family problems or just social life

they don't choose. you think they are crazy but they can't control it. they're are some people who are like 5'7" and they want to be 70 lb and they really can't control it. it starts with they just want to go on a simple diet, they start cutting out some meals, stop eating breakfast, start counting calories, and start losing weight. they want to lose more and more and it becomes an addiction and they start fasts and stuff. if they eat then they feel guilty and the only way of getting it out is by throwing up..and that's where belemia comes in. soooooooooooo, yea. now you get it. haa

most guys that are skinny aren't anorexic, they're just naturally that skinny because they don't go through the same puberty stuff that girls have to go through..

i wouldnt know because i,too, have a fast motabolism. and i also love to eat. but my friend, she said her doctor says in a couple of years she will be belimic. i dont think that her doctor is really bad. i mean what kind of doctor would put that image into someone's head! i wouldnt think she would be. but ever since, she has been throwing up every time she eats. all that doctor is doing is putting images into her head. i should have known that thats why shes always saying.. i wanna look like people like britney spears, beyonce. thats probably another reason why. they are influenced by their idols.

I think my metabolism is sorta fast.. I guess. All I know is that I <3 to eat and I dont gain/lose lbs. Plsu, I'm not "super skinny" :P

Stereotypically, anorexia dyslexia is just about girls doing it because they are not happy about their body.

but guys also suffer the same thing... but it is totally unheard of since guys want to be buff and thick instead. However, guys who are having trouble with their eating diets also chose to throw up become bulimic... and hold on eating any kind of food that will sooner or later turn into anorexia.

thennn it's not good for guys either, either way its bad, it's just sterotypically girls so that's why people worry about girls being anorexic more than guys, and usually there are more girls to do this

the girls that are anorexic don't "choose" to do so. They believe that they are fat, and the only way out of it is to go on a diet. After they lose a few pounds they think "I am now in control of myself" and then don't want to lose that control, so they start starving themselves so that they don't lose the control. Its not a choice is a disorder.

Bulimia is when someone thinks of themselves as fat, and then eats a lot. They get guilty and therefore force their body to regergitate the food.

Often these two are mixed as in:

A girl goes anorexic, then she gives in, eats a lot, then purges, then starts starving herself again
