i hang up my phone,
already, i feel so dead
as i think before i sleep
the hours go by
i can't get my mind off you
and i think i know why
i gave you my heart
i gave you my soul
but you love someone else
everytime you see him, it seems like you drool
he asks you out,
while i blow away with the dust
he's shining like gold,
while i'm here to rust
i dreamed that night, about

i thought this was the case
i guess it was a lie
it hurts when i think about the things we could have done
the good times, or so it seems
that these things are fake
merely only dreams
