goodness im so glad you posted this topic. cuz i always wanted to tell this to people but i hate wat kelly is doing. shes trying to sound like a rocker and be all punk. probably cuz she wants attention or more fans to like her. shes so much better off soul and rnb.

avril wrote breakaway (the song) but she didnt want to sing it so she chose kelly to sing it.
and kelly is breaking free of the american idol persona and finally becoming an individual. if you went to see kelly on tour you'd now that she was always like this rocking, head-banging person. and kelly did write songs (because of you and behind these hazel eyes) for her sophomore albums, which i think are her best songs. |

that was the whole point of american idol, to be able to change music styles. if she couldn't do that, then she would've been voted off because they got a new theme every week.
