Hi!
 Here's a skin I made to submit to cb. I wanted to make a banner based on that Seether and Amy Lee song Broken, as a way to "release and reflect" some of my emotions.  Wow... im speachless!  Thats really good... I like how the pics are "broken" but I guess thats the point! I think you should bring more attention to the first part of Evanescence... I didnt really see that part of the name... Thats my only suggestion |

the banner is quite good. great job on the blend. however, everything else is a little default.

Just because I prefer to use the xanga modules.  Anyway, I'm glad you guys like it. This is one of my fav skins I've made because I LOVE Evanescence. But more importantly the banner was made solely to reflect a sorta sadness I felt in my relationship with my bf. You'll probably see this skin up soon in the skins forum. I like the shattered picture, but I think the other pictures kind of distract you away from it... But I don't really like this layout. @_@ I do love modules, but I think the space is just too wide? Plus the banner's so colourful and the blog is mostly gray-tone-ish. I like your other stuff much better. ;)

Also I didn't want to make the modules too colorful because I wanted the focal point to be on the banner, but there is just enough hits of color here and there.  Thanks for your input.

-To me the banner feels really off balance in terms of presence and color. On one side you have green then on the other you have red. And also the dark patch on the top right makes it seem like a chunk is missing from the banner.
-I'm not sure of the specific effect you're trying to achieve w/ the module borders (3D?) but it looks really busy. -How come you have moduleheader backgrounds (the gray) but none for the entries? I always liked some consistency in terms of headers |
