Hong Kong would be so freakin awesome...

I'd do anything to get out of California. lol.

If I went...I'd go sightseeing...or visit some awesome structures/buildings ^_^

Why would you want to leave California. It's the best place on the EARTH!! Anywho, Hong Kong....I went there. I hated it. It was sooo hot.

oh yes, the lights are awesome, especially around xmas time..
heres a tip: if you ever visit HK in the week of xmas, go to some hotel in Kowloon or New Territories (eg. the InterContinental) and you can go to the lounge cafe and enjoy the view.. best at night. happy.gif

I love HK to bits!!!!!!!

I'm Honkie, but moved to Australia when I was 2, still visit it for X-mas sometimes! Coz all my relatives are in HK, only my family is in Sydney.

I love the shopping in HK, i love the food in Hk, not to mention it is MUCH MUCH cheaper to buy in HK of the same quality than in Australia. Australia's like a rip off!

Hey, I'm in Hong Kong right now!

I love this place. Where should I start? Well first off, America/Canada cannot even COMPARE to Hong Kong. Sure, the stuff is a tad expensive, but hey, at least you have CHOICES. (you'd understand that if you are from Hong Kong and you live in America/Canada). I love Tsim Sha Tsui and Causeway Bay, but unfortunately I live in Ma On Shan (Shatin). Oh well.

The buildings are incredible. The tallest building, named the IFC, is magnificent, and at night the view is incredible (especially during Christmas, with all those Xmas patterns!) You can't beat the food and MOST of the people are nice. Actually, scratch that. Hong Kong people are total b*tches. =) Hey, what do you expect? We're Chinese too!

If you want to know more, go to www.bigwhiteguy.com. It's a blog about the adventures of a white guy living in Hong Kong. His blog entries are so real, and it's exactly like how it's like to live in Hong Kong. It's what my parents talk about, except in English.

Hong Kong rocks my socks =))

its really easy to get to tsim sha tsui from ma on shan, go on 81c. and within 10-20 mins(depending on the traffics) you'll be at tsim sha tsui.

To everyone who said that stuff in hong kong is expensive... are you FREAKING KIDDING ME? You buy like a big mac meal in america for like 5 dollars, in hong kong, it's like 2.50 TOP. You buy a shirt here in america for like 15 dollars and you can find something just as nice without the logo for like 5 dollars. You just need to know the places to shop, if you just go to tommy hilfiger or other american shops, why bother going to hong kong? i love hong kong, best place in the entire universe. hong kong rocks.

Yah, it is pretty easy (easier than Vancouver, that's all I can say). But I take the 87d or the 286m to Diamond Hill and take the MTR to TST. =) LOL. But they have the new train at Ma On Shan now so I can use that! happy.gif I haven't taken the 81c for a long time because the bus that comes back takes sh*tloads of turns until it stops at my building.

And 10 - 20 minutes?!? Are you kidding me? Even if I take the train and then switch to MTR it takes me at LEAST 20 minutes. Weirdness. =\

Yup, I'm still in HK! I'm leaving on Sunday though, boohoo. I actually love shopping in Mong Kok and Causeway Bay, and malls like Festival Walk or Times Square =).

THE FOOD IS FABULOUS!

Yes, and fob clothing is uber cool. =))

And about the cheaper stuff in Hong Kong thing, it really depends. Like, you can get a shirt for $15 in Canada and one for $30 in HK, but you'll buy the one in HK. Usually it's because the shirt from HK is WAY more cool than the one from Canada. HK has way better brands, I mean, have YOU ever seen some slutty Vancouver girl knowing what Bathing Ape is? Or Evisu? Sure, all that stuff is tons more expensive, but it's way more awesom-er.

And besides, you can get cheap clothes in HK too! Go to Fa Yuen street or the cheap shops in Mong Kok. The quality sucks though, ahhaahha.

Yes, and all the luxury brands are cheaper here! NO TAX! Except if you bring it through customs they tax you, so make sure to tell them it's an old LV =)
