well my mom made me do it this year. Well not really made me, I had a choice and I thought, hey it would look good on college resumes. I'm only 14 and I took a 200 level course on international politics. Well I like never studied, but I ended up getting an A in the class. I feel bad about that though because like I don't really remember anything. lol Yea but I don't really like being called a nerd or dork (lol don't use my xanga username as a model, thats so that if my friends see it they won't be like... omg that is Tori) cause well I have a life beyond school too.

Yea so anyway I don't know what I want you to say, just post your thoughts on this. Like if you have this problem too.

well, i guess if you feel that you're not up to it, then tell your mom, cuz like you have time, right? no need to get ahead if you're not ready. and personally, i think people should try to value their high school years before college, cuz i mean i'll be taking a college course next year but you have to know if you're really mature and up to the job.
p.s. nerds and dorks(people always call me that) are cool! haha coming from one

I'm mature enough

I finished the course last thursday and everyone found out I was only 14 and they were all like "omg, you act like you are 18" so I'm mature, just maybe not up for it

maybe they're just jealous! I agree with anger_is_my_friend, it's better to value you high school years. If you want to do that, then that's great, you'll get a head start for college! (wow, only at 14???!!) but if you'd rather live your life as a kid, then your mom should respect that. I'm taking college classes, but a lot of people just look at me as intellegent i guess, not really a nerd. So don't worry about what others think, all that counts is your happiness, and what you want to do with your future and how you choose to use your knowledge flowers.gif

I was going to do that too. I don't know if you meant that way like going to a college, but still you're active in high school too? If you meant that way.... I was going to try that too because I was having troubles at school, but I want to stay in my High School...didnt want to leave my friends......... well if i really want to become a fashion designer, i have to what i gotta do. sigh... i dont know it's hard...... i just want to stay in high school and feel like im still a high school student!!!

yea, I'm still in high school for the full day, just go to college at night... I really don't mind it, its just annoying

Its just to a state college, nothing major, but it gives me credit for hs and college, so I guess it is alright

middle college? hmm i don't think so.

it's just like going to college, but you're still a high school student. so you're doing education the same time while you're in college studying. so it's like you're studying high school education and college education in the same time. so yeah you can graduate college faster than your friends.
