frankly, at this age, guys are just cooler. they're less spazzy, obsessive, hyper, and moody.. and more understanding, easygoing, genuine. so yes, quite understandable, mercedes.

personally, at times, i like hanging out with guys better than girls. theyre more fun in my opinion! what sucks that my parents always thinks im up to something when i hang out with guys or that theyre trying to hook up with me if they call or whatever.

Yeah, I've had that problem for 3 years now. I haven't made any female friends in the last 3 years, and the year before that, I only had 2. I just don't get along with them and I find that life is much easier and less stressful without them around. Them calling you a "whore" is proof that they're just a waste of time.

Ah. i share this with you. People who dont kno me call me a slut, those who do say that i am definitely not. My dad freaked out on me one time b/c he thinks that i only like guys bc i need attention. sometimes, guys are more understanding, and more understandable...is that a word? they dont fight over the stupid stuff...u stole my bf, etc. guys are great, u r just lucky that u realize that already. dont try to be something u arent. what other ppl say doesnt matter!

I don't exactly have that problem... But people who say that are probably either intimidated or jealous. After all, if they see you hanging out with all these guys, and even if they KNOW it's just platonic, they get jealous. People like that jump to conclusions very easily, and they probably think that if you're so friendly with guys, you can have any you want. I guess they find that a bit intimidating, and get jealous, and then call you a whore for no reason.
Don't listen to em, hang out with WHOEVER you want. =] |

In the third grade, most of all the guys in my class were my friends and we would always play kickback and kickball during lunch and recess. I did have friends that were girls but they played the most gayest game called house. They'll pretend to be family and all that crap. It creeped me out one day so I ditched them and went to go play kickback. Then the 'leader' got mad because I dragged along another one of my friend who also wanted to play kickback, so then the 'leader' walked over adn sat right in the middle of the game. Then I lcaught a ball so I kicked it, but I threw it bad and kicked it at the 'leader'. She started crying and telling everyone in my class that I kicked the ball at her on purpose. Ahh....very good memories.

i think its completely normal to have more guy friends than girl friends. i've always related to guys more..not because i share a lot of the same interests with them but it was easier for me to talk to them..with girls i've been in a lot of drama with them..so i've always kept my distance.. i do have girl friends though. we used to be really close but as time went on we only called each other to go hang out which only happens every few weeks..it just seems like the guys wanna go hang out more. not because they want to get with me or anything cuz after hanging out with the same guys for such a long time, they dont think of you as a girl anymore!! haha its true so as long as you feel comfortable with it, then everything is all good!

i've really never had guy friends in middle school, but now i do...and there really is no problem with that...friends r still friends...as long as they stick by u nothing else matters...
