ok..so me and this guy have been going out for about a year. only thing is my parents and his parents dont exactly approve. why? because we're of different races. we tried breaking up and everything but it just didnt work. ((this will sound corny)) but we just cant be w/o eachother. and its like we hafta hide and junk. we cant go anywhere together cuz neither of us can drive yet. and i wish i could..but you know. i just need some help as to what to do. help me please. i cry all the time because i know how hard it is on both of us. if anyone can help. please. cry.gif

mmm...if your bf was a different race, would your parents approve?

i guess it all depends on what you think is right, would you rather obey your parents, and be not so close to him or just totally disobey them to be with him.

you know that you guys can still be REALLY CLOSE friends...

i dunno, dont listen to me if i sounded stupid.

what's your race and your boyfriend's race? well at least you guys can be close friends like gnawxela is saying to you too. but yeah... if you love him that much, just hide it away from your parents. is your parents racism??????? o dear if they are... not good but anyways if you love him that much, just keep it your guy's selves and not tell anyone. if they ask you, just say that your boyfriend is just one of your closest friend that you see and hang out a lot. i think that's best to get away from this situation.

and if you want to obey your parents. do what's right for you then. just break up with you boyfriend if you don't want to see any troubles throughout your life or in your future. it's your choice. not someone's choice.

that's just wrong, your parents shouldn't disapprove just because of your race, talk to them about it. it's up to you on what you want to do, its your choice

_unsure.gif i was in the same spot this summer, i had a bf named jordan and i liked him sooo much but when i told my mom she was like " ur white, u should go out with white boys" i was like cry.gif and his mom sure didnt approve, so we had to breakup

ouch..i'm sorry about this...that's a horrible situation to be in..i would talk it out with both of your guys' parents together..
