i'm sorry but its comments like that that REALLY piss me off. maybe a person did steal your CD player but you shouldnt expect it because they are black. it doesnt matter what race or ethnicity they are, what matters is the person they are.

people in my school are racist, but no one takes it seriously because they only joke around about it, and its okay to laugh and joke about things and not take things seriously. but thats one nerve everyone knows they shouldnt touch with me. i get very offended when people call me 'mexican' [ i'm peruvian] it's like 'are you dumb enough to actually say that to me because thats the only hispanic country you know?!' people are messed up but i handle is pretty well.. i have temper issues but anyway.. they're right.. toughen up, laugh, and be a smartass bitch back.

i used to live in nyc and there was soo much racism in my school like for the stupidest reasons. and i now live in toronto and no one does anything. they don't discriminate at all. or at least i haven't heard anything from anybody even the "thugs' and "gangster wanna-be's".

No offense, but I think deep down, everyone has a tiny bit of racism, or some discrimination against a certain group(s) of people.

My parents are total racists, and they don't like me hanging out with anyone who isn't Asian. But see, I know better than that and I don't try to be racist or anything... but I know sometimes I might accidentally say something that sounds like a racists remark.. if I get mad... But I still feel bad afterwards. I have friends and acquaintances of many races, if not all. I may joke around, but I certainly don't mean what I say.

But anyway, that's messed up that the girl would do that. I know a girl who is half white, half mexican and she hung out with Asians during middle school... Sometimes people said that she was Asian-washed or a wannabe Asian.. but see, she was just closer to Asians, that's all. I think it was messed up that those girls called her an Asian wannabe.

yeah. i'm white, and where i live, we're the minority. people around here are pretty nice, for the most part, but a lot of people i go to school with are just so ignorant. luckily, i've never been encountered with a problem, but i see it all the time. a lot of my friends that are white have been teased and harrassed i guess you could say because of being white. they'll go up to them and be like, "oh you stupid white bitch" or "you effing cracker" or whatever. ugh, people these days. it disghusts me. i guess i'm lucky because i get along with pretty much everyone here, but still. it's bad when things like this are happenning right by you.

i wish i knew. when i was in 3rd grade, i entered a private school. i was one of the like.. 2 asian people there. i was always made fun of, constantly. but people got used to me. but it still kinda cuts when i think about it. the best way to react to racism and prevent it is to never be racist back.

this one time this hispanic/black chick on xanga stated a lot of racist remarks about asians. people hacked her xanga and defaced her and her race. it is very, very immature to react that way, because it makes you condescend to her racism
