running, water polo. actually, none of it really helps make thighs thinner. it just turns whatever fat into muscle. generally, the shape remains the same.
gr. i hate my thighs. but w/e, just don't sweat it.

Yeah it happens to everybody and I hate my thighs...

is it true that ur thighs get bigger by eating meat or anything like that and then it can't get skinnier?

im soo skinny, but i have saddle bags. NO ONE believes me. they say "ur so skinny, ur anorexic! you HAVE no thighs!"...which makes me mad beauce i eat more than they are they family combined...but thats aside from the point. i havent a clue how...sorry. join a sport?

What hixfive said, they're called wall sits. You put your back against the wall and act like you're sitting on a chair with only your back as support against the wall with your legs shoulder width apart in front of you. You should try that and pace yourself. Your thighs will begin to burn so try doing it for 30 seconds then add more time. It really works it out but also creates soreness the next day. We do it in soccer all the time. It really helps build/tone muscle.

Another exercise you could try are lunges. You put one leg up in front of you and the other is nearly touching the floor. Then you get up and do the same with your other leg leading. I don't really know how to explain it. You're basically doing a stationary lunge. You keep doing this moving forward and alternating legs with a pause standing up in between switches of the leading leg. This is also a good exercise to tone thigh and butt muscles.

I'm a soccer player and I have pretty toned thighs and even they expand when I sit down. Don't sweat it. Just try those exercises and I warn you that you will feel some soreness, but more so with the lunges in the buttocks area, but beauty can be painful!

happens to me..but my friend..who is quite thing..i noticed it doesnt happen to her..or maybe its jus b/c shes really thin...her thighs spread out look like half of mines..and im considered skinny..

Unless your Kate Moss thin, your upper legs will do that. It's really nothing to be ashamed of. I'm sure you look fine.

PS - It kind of makes me sad that people can be so insecure about things like this. I really want to blame American pop culture. There are some countries out there that actually have an overall mentality that 'meat' on your bones is a *good* thing. ::sighs::

I shrinked mine by doing wall squats, where you put your back against the wall and bend your legs at a 90 degree angle, and hold it for a while, try like 30 seconds at first and build it up.

Excersize at least 20min a day.
And when your done, have one cup of White Cranberry juice from Ocean Spray.

Eat an apple for a snack, and a nice hearty steak for dinner.

Oh yeah, for breakfast, eat a granola bar, cheerios, yogurt, and drink some more of that delicious White Cranberry Juice :)

My thighs are huge.
And i`m short too so it makes me really chubby.
But I would not want thighs that look as if they are aboutt o break.LOL

hmmm but there's this one exercise where you lay on your back and put both of your legs up and imagine you're riding a bicycle.
