i have one.....it was a pink one for breast cancer. i don't wear it for the fad, though. anyways, isn't it GOOD that it's a fad? it just makes more people want it, and then they start buying it.

i know its a good cause, but i think it's annoying that people want it cause its a fad.

exactly... and some people probably dont even know what they stand for, they just got it because 'everyone else is wearing them'

Well, it's going towards a good cause. I'm glad it's a fad. For the yellow LIVESTRONG bracelets, 77 cents out of every dollar is spent on cancer research. That really adds up.

TOTALLY.

That's why I'm not buying one... I'd rather give the money myself to the foundation than buy it from a retailer.. stubborn.gif

i see a lot of people have it, but if it goes to charity, then does it matter? true it might be a fad, but hey, it'll help a lot of people in the end.

Yeah, same here..but i still dont get why people wear them..

well, some people just wear them because they think it looks cool & stuff, and other people wear them for the cause. i have the breast cancer one, and i wear it not because its becoming a fad, but because of the cause. and actually, i think im the only person in my grade that even wears the breast cancer ones other than me. everyone wears the livestrong ones.....

They're like... a really big fad at my school. I think it's cool to wear them to support the cause, but as a fashion statement they look kinda tacky.
