i'm going through the same thing with cheerleading...they can't force you to stay....you need to do what you're happy with. If you're not interested anymore, then just tell the coach. You don't want to make yourself unhappy, just to please others around you.

I agree with what XKali_chik_4_lifeX said...you need to think about yourself first...if you don't quit, you'll be wasting your time and doing something you don't like for a very long time.

relax. it's a school team...not a life commitment. so you want to quit. then quit! it's up to you. do what you think is best. if your heart isn't set on the sport then don't do it. find a sport that you actually like.

Maybe write a note.. it's easier than doing that kind of thing in-person.

well, then its settled.
follow your heart.
you guys think she wont understand.. but try and see what happens. you'd never know anyway.
she might say nothing to it.

Just talk to your coach and tell her why you don't want to be on the team anymore. She should understand. My friend was in the same situation as you and she came to talk to me before she went and told the coach. After she explained everything, it turned out that it wasn't so bad. Ok, maybe everyone will be disappointed at first, but they'll eventually get over it, hopefully...good luck. =)
