I'm weird.

But yeah, are your parents just proud of the weirdest things that happen in your life?
My mom was proud when I got my period. It disturbed me.

Whoa...randomness...

My mom was proud of me when I got my first boyfriend. I think it's because she thought I was gay. Oh well.

Haha. My mom hates when I have boyfriends. I think she'd actual prefer that I was gay. Haha.

Pfft, if my mother was ever really proud of me- it was when I was younger and I'd do stuff after she'd tell me not to.

"Don't stick that key in the socket."
*did it, shocked the hell out of myself*
"See? I told you not to."

"Don't touch that burner, it's hot."
*touched it, screamed my ass off*
"No, touch it again as I see you don't like to listen."

*LOL* I love my mom.

Haha, poor Natalie :P
My mum is proud each time I get an award or recognition for something. I think she was uber proud at the 5th grade graduating ceremony. I got 'Math Whiz'. I don't know how that happened; I suck at math.

Reminds me of what they do in Japan.

As I read in an anime book, Japanese parents would unexpectedly go to the girl's room (the girl cant say no, she has to let them in), and if they find a red spot of blood on the girls underwear, they celebrate b/c the girl has her first period. They would all eat red beans and red rice (basically, anything red).

Thats a fact to b honest. There was a lil manga about that where this girl.. ehh, i dont wanna discuss it in here, 2 inappropriate. if you ppl wanna kno though, PM me (which i doubt will happen)

Yes, because they all do that in Japan. Manga, your #1 source for learning about the Japanese lifestyle.
